Starc serves a low full toss, angling in from around off and at over 141 clicks. Mayers punches it firmly back towards the bowler. The ball goes to just the right of Starc who sticks out his left hand on the followthrough and manages to somehow grasp it. A bit of magic has provided Australia an early breakthrough here.

Matthew Wade looks to take it on and goes for the pull. wade is beaten for pace and the ball goes off the top edge towards the cover-point region. Kyle Mayers over there moves to bhis left and takes a simple catch. Australia finish with 178/7 on the board!
