Time for the Decision Review System. Mahmudullah has once again listened to the advice of Nurul Hasan, the keeper, and taken the review. It's for an lbw against Tom Latham. Is the impact outside off? Forget that, there is some glove involved. Bangladesh have now wasted both their reviews.

Beaten all ends up! Fuller and around off, dipping in and going straight on, Young tries to go big initially but then attempts to defend. The ball though skids off the surface and beats the edge.

Review time! Bangladesh have taken a review for LBW! They think that it is pad first but the replays show that it has hit only the bat and not the pad. Poor, poor review.

NOT OUT! Superb follow-up delivery by Nasum Ahmed. After getting the last ball to turn away sharply with extra bounce, this one shoots low as it skids into the batsman from a fuller length around off. Will Young has his bat down just in time to keep it out. The bowler appeals thinking it's pad first but it's turned down. Mahmudullah is advised by the keeper to take the DRS but the replays show that the ball had found the middle of the bat. A review wasted. Very poor from Nurul.

Beauty! Turn. Bounce. Wow. Floated one, landing around off and spinning square, Young stands back, completely clueless and it turns past his defensive blade.

OUT! Live by the sword, die by the sword. Finn Allen is gone. You can call his shot selection silly now as he failed to execute it properly. Nasum delivers it flat and full around off, Allen again attempts for his reverse-batted heave but this time mistimes it badly. He ends up playing it aerially to backward point and Mohammad Saifuddin has another catch in the match.

Nasum drags his length short, around off, Latham goes back and plays it down to covers for a quick run.

Flatter and shorter, wide outside off, Allen goes back and slaps to deep cover. The fielder in the deep does well to stop it from crossing the rope and saves one run.

Another reverse-batted shot from Allen, not timed too well but it clears the infield on the off side. It goes to sweeper cover and they take a couple.

SIX! What a shot! Out of nowhere. Before this delivery, Nurul Hasan, the keeper, was saying - not easy to play big shots here. This shot in a way proves him wrong. Floated one, full and around off, Finn Allen brings out the reverse-batted shot and heaves it over covers for a biggie.

Quicker one, flat and on middle, Finn goes back and flicks it to mid-wicket.

Aerial but safe! Arm ball on middle, skidding in, Allen gets back to flick but closes the face of the bat early. It takes the leading edge but falls safely at covers.

Floated and on middle, Tom goes back and turns it towards square leg for one.

New Zealand are away! Short in length and outside off, Latham goes back and cuts it through cover-point for a couple of runs.

Who will bowl from the other end? Shakib Al Hasan it is.

OUT! Fantastic catch from Mohammad Saifuddin. First strike for Bangladesh. There was no need for that shot. Slower through the air, full and landing around off, spinning in a bit, Ravindra goes down on one knee for the slog-sweep but it takes the top edge of his bat. It flies behind backward square leg. Two fielders are interested but Mohammad Saifuddin calls for it coming from short fine leg and completes the catch with a full-length dive. He had another fielder in his peripheral vision and did well to call for it to avoid the collision.

Gets back inside the crease and works it with the spin on the leg side. Finds mid-wicket.

Leans forward to a full ball around off and defends it to the off side. The bowler moves across to his right to collect the ball.

This one holds its line. Flatter one, short and outside off, Ravindra allows it through to the keeper.

Big turn! Tossed up ball on middle, gripping and spinning into the left-hander, Ravindra goes back and keeps it out to mid-wicket.

Mahmudullah, the captain of Bangladesh, says that winning the series against Australia was a big boost but this is a new series against a different team and hopes to seal the series today. Tells us that it was not complacency in the last match, it's just that they didn't capitalize on the start with the bat. Adds that they have played very well in the recent past and the last loss won't change anything. Informs that Bangladesh are unchanged.

Tom Latham, the New Zealand skipper, says that the bowlers have been fantastic throughout and they have adapted to international cricket very well. Adds that to put a competitive score on the board is the plan and they need to put partnerships. Informs that they have got two changes as Blair Tickner comes in for Jacob Duffy and Hamish Bennett comes in for Scott Kuggeleijn.

Pitch report - Atul Wassan says that this is the same pitch where the second game was played. Adds that there is grass on it but it is dead grass. Tells that there is no moisture on it and it looks like a better batting pitch. Says that the average score in the last 10 games is around 117 which is very low. Opines that the team winning the toss should look to bat first.

Bangladesh got a bit of a reality check in the last match as they lost by a big margin in conditions that suited them more. It was their batting not doing well that day and the Bangla Tigers would look to improve in that area. They would be the favourites once again but New Zealand have shown that they are no pushovers in these conditions despite being short on experience and resources. Should be a close game. Two teams are in Asia currently playing international cricket - New Zealand and South Africa. Both have been put to the sword by the spinners but have fared decently. Last evening, South Africa fought superbly with the ball but their batting let them down as they lost the series. New Zealand are in a similar situation and would want to avoid a lacklustre batting show with the series on the line. Another trial by spin awaits them.

Australia had also managed to win one match recently in Bangladesh but that came when the series was already done and dusted.
