Right then, we have got the four finalists as Gujarat, Rajasthan, Lucknow and Bangalore qualify for the playoffs but before that we have one more group stage game remaining as Hyderabad will take on Punjab on 22nd May at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT) Do join us for the build up as well. Till then, goodbye and cheers!

Jasprit Bumrah is the Player of the Match for his lethal spell of (4-0-25-3). He says he just tries to have fun and enjoy the game. Adds that this wicket is quite fast here, there's pace and bounce. But this was slow, and the bounce was low, there wasn't much swing so they executed the plans properly. They tried to bowl stump to stump and it came nicely for them. Tells that when you come up the ranks, you try to help the youngsters and that is how they build an atmosphere around them. Shares that they always keep in touch and they will analyze this season before they start again next year. Mentions that he was happy with his rhythm, he was executing well and following the process. He just tries to keep it simple and execute his plans.

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai says they were here to win the game, a couple of teams were watching them but they were trying to finish on a high and take some positive off the game. Says it was tough to lose 8 on the trot but he feels, they did pretty well in the second half of the tournament. Admits he was nervous as it was not a 160-run pitch, it was sluggish but they needed a big partnership and Kishan and Brevis put in a good stand after not having a good start. Shares that collective performance always gets through but it didn't happened for them, When you want to qualify, they have to play collectively but there they didn't do it. Says there is many things to learn from this tournament. Mentions that they always keep an eye on youngsters. Adds there were no calls from Faf Du Plessis or Virat Kohli. Ends by wishing the qualified teams, all the best and hopes the best team wins.

Time for presentation...

Rishabh Pant, the losing skipper says they were on top most of the game but in patches they let it slip and that was not enough to win this match. Adds that they failed in execution and it's been the same scenario the whole tournament and hopes to come back strong next year. Adds that he felt they were 5-10 run short and dew came in in the later half and they bowled some freebie as well. They should keep their chin up and learn from it. On the review he didn't take off Tim David, he says he was convinced but he says, the other players inside the ring were not convinced enough and at the end, he didn't go up.

Tim David is up for a quick chat. He says it was nice to finish the game, he failed in the last game but he helped today. Adds that the slow balls were sticking and he tried to keep it simple. Tells that he got away with the baby sixes (the wide deliveries which went for six), adds that he works really hard and practices hard to hit big. Admits it's been a tough season but they found the rhythm in the last six games, Informs he got a message from Faf Du Plessis in the morning that, he, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell were wearing the Mumbai jersey. Talks about the edge he got that Pant did not appeal for the caught behind, he says he heard the noise off his bat but when they didn’t review, he took advantage of it.

Earlier in the day, after being asked to bat first, Delhi were in big trouble at 55 for 4. Pant, Powell and Axar played well to get them to a total which we felt was above par. That though did not prove to be enough despite doing well for most parts of the innings. It was the pressure which told and in the end, Delhi ended up on the losing side. Some interviews coming up...

Coming to the game now, defending 159, Delhi began really well as they got Rohit early and really made run scoring tough for Mumbai in the first 10 overs. Kishan and Brevis though then stepped on the gas to turn the tide towards Mumbai. Kuldeep though got the big wicket of Kishan. He could have had Brevis too had Pant not dropped him. Thakur however got him soon. He could have had two in two but Delhi did not take a review. That cost them dearly as his innings took the game away. He was well supported by Tilak and then Ramandeep added the finishing touch.

Have to say Delhi just succumbed under pressure. The dropped catch, and the review against David which was not taken just cost them dearly. It was the crunch situation which they needed to win but they failed to do so.

DELHI HAVE BEEN KNOCKED OUT! IT IS BANGALORE WHO HAVE MADE IT THROUGH TO THE PLAYOFFS! It is not only the Mumbai players who are celebrating but so are the Bangalore players and fans.

Commentary

We are back for Mumbai's reply. The Delhi players are out in the middle. Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan are the openers for Mumbai. Khaleel Ahmed to start with the ball.

... THE CHASE...

Now then, the equation is simple, if Delhi defend this, they make it through, if they don't, Bangalore are through. The wicket is slow and they do have the bowlers to defend this but early wickets is what they need. Can they do it or will Mumbai do Bangalore a favor? We will find out soon. Stay tuned for the chase...

Jasprit Bumrah is up for a quick chat. He says it feels good to execute the plans which he looked to do. Adds that he doesn't think about wickets much and just looks to enjoy his bowling and wickets will come. Mentions that yes, he does love picking up wickets but more than that he loves bowling. Adds that Marsh's wicket was his favorite tonight and it is always good when a plan comes through. Says that the wicket is a bit two-paced and it's not a typical wicket and early on, they looked if there was swing on offer or not. Ends by saying that the score is getable and hopes the batters can do the job.

Mumbai were brilliant with the ball first up but they will be very disappointed with the overs in the second half. After the first 10, they would have been thinking of chasing something around 145 but some poor fielding and bowling have seen Delhi get close to 160. The overs from Ramandeep could cost Mumbai the game and despite having Riley Meredith in the bank, Rohit went with the local boy.

It was the stand between Pant and Powell which has got them here! Axar too played a handy cameo down the order but it is the two above who got Delhi out of trouble. They were reeling at 50-odd for 4 after the halfway mark. Powell and Pant though played sensibly. They upped the ante as the game went ahead. However, both fell at the wrong time or 170 would have been possible. Axar though has taken them to a really competitive total.

Delhi will be very pleased they have got really close to the 160-run mark. At one stage that seemed far away and by what we have seen so far, they have a score which is probably par on this surface.

Leg bye! A length ball, slanting around middle and leg. Patel looks to swing across but misses and gets hit on the pads. A huge appeal but nothing given and Mumbai take the review. UltraEdge shows nothing and Ball Tracking shows wickets hitting but was the umpire's call. A leg bye taken in the process. Delhi end at 159/7.

19.56

SIX! THUMPED! Short of a length and outside off. Patel hangs back and pulls it over long on for a biggie. Can Delhi cross 160?

19.41

Bangs a bouncer, on middle. Yadav looks to hook but gets a leading edge to third man for a single.

19.3W

OUT! CAUGHT! Ramandeep Singh gets a wicket! This is full and outside off. Thakur swings across but does not middle it. Hits it high and towards long on where Tim David positions himself near the ropes and takes it calmly.

19.31wd

Wide! Tries the similar delivery but puts one over the tramline. A wide given. Riley Meredith had two overs but Rohit went with Singh.

19.20

Length ball, angling across, outside off. Thakur swings wildly and misses.

19.12

18.51

Full again and Thakur turns it to deep mid-wicket  for a single.

18.41

Fuller and on middle, it is pushed past the bowler for a single.

18.31

DROPPED! An excellent effort though from Dewald Brevis! Bumrah hits the hard length, around off. Thakur is cramped as he tries to block but it takes the shoulder of the bat and balloons over backward point. Dewald Brevis tracks back and stretches his left-hand out but fails to stick it. One run.

18.2W

OUT! TIMBER! Rohit asks for a wicket and Jasprit Bumrah serves him with one and that too a very big one. Another yorker from Bumrah, angling around off. Powell tries to sweep this without much conviction and the ball goes onto rattle the stumps. A timely wicket for Mumbai as it could make a huge difference of 15-20 runs in the end.

18.11

17.20

A huge appeal for LBW and not given! Rohit doesn't review it! Might be pitching outside leg! A length ball, on middle. Powell looks to flick but misses and gets hit on the pads.

SIX! The Powell power! Ends the over with a biggie and that somewhat spoils it! Still only 8 from it though. Bumrah looks to surprise the batter with a short one. Powell is up for it though as he rocks back and pulls it well over the square leg fence. He can take Delhi over the 160-run mark.

16.51

Shorter and on off, Patel guides it through point for one.

SIX! BANG! The last ball spoils the over! A full toss on the pads, David does not miss out, he sends it sailing over the mid-wicket fence. The last ball spoils the over somewhat. Still good according to the situation of the game. 59 needed in 30.

14.50

Length and on off, David guides it to point.

14.40

Was there an edge? There was a sound! Length and on off, this lands and moves away. David looks to push at it but seems to have missed it. Rishabh takes it and appeals. The finger stays down. NO review taken after a chat but guess what, Ultra Edge shows a spike. A big, big opportunity has gone by.

Drinks! 65 runs needed in 33 balls. With big hitters next to come, Mumbai should take this game deep and will hope to get over the line. Delhi have been good so far but need to continue the good work. An exciting finish awaits. Also, Tim David walks out now.

11.50

DROPPED! Pant has put down one he should have taken! He was probably distracted by the bowler's presence but still should have taken it. Kuldeep could have had two in the over. How costly is this going to prove? Slower and on middle, the slog sweep comes out, once again since the length is dragged back, there is extra bounce, it goes off the top edge towards the right the wicket.

Not sure why Pant wanted to play at that one! He was actually in two minds. This is yet again well, well wide outside off. Pant looks to go after it but then tries to bail out, too late as it goes off the edge and to Kishan. We are all set for the action. The Mumbai players are out in the middle. David Warner has his old partner in Prithvi Shaw back. Daniel Sams to start for Mumbai. Wankhede is roaring as we are all set to start. Here we go...

There was a slight drizzle but was a passing shower and right now, the rain has stopped. The covers are off as well.

Delhi (Playing XI) - David Warner, Prithvi Shaw (In for Lalit Yadav), Sarfaraz Khan, Mitchell Marsh, Rishabh Pant (C/WK), Rovman Powell, Axar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Kuldeep Yadav, Anrich Nortje, Khaleel Ahmed.

Mumbai (Playing XI) - Rohit Sharma (C), Ishan Kishan (WK), Dewald Brevis (In for Tristan Stubbs), Tilak Varma, Tim David, Daniel Sams, Ramandeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Mayank Markande, Riley Meredith, Hrithik Shokeen (In for Sanjay Yadav).

Rishabh Pant, the skipper of Delhi says they would have liked to bowl first too. Adds they’ll now try to give their 100 percent. Informs there is one change as SHAW COMES IN FOR LALIT!

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai, says it is a good track and they have been doing it well and there is rain around. Mentions it all depends on how they start and how much they restrict them to and then bat freely. States they were inconsistent throughout the season and that has been the constant talk in the group and there will be a few eyes on them and they want to give it their best. Adds they have tried a few things keeping one eye on the future but they still want to win games as that is what will give them confidence. Informs they have two changes Brevis and Shokeen come in for Stubbs and Sanjay Yadav.

TOSS - Mumbai have won the toss and will BOWL first!

Pitch Report - Danny Morrison is near the pitch, he says the boundaries are even as they are using the middle pitch. Adds that red soil will offer bounce and spinners will enjoy it as well. Tells that there is a little bit of live grass on it, but it's about getting the lengths right. Mentions the pace bowlers have to bowl at a Test match lengths and feels, the wrists spinners will come into play.

Delhi, with a win in their last game, managed to win two games in a row for the first time this season. However, they need to make it three in a row. The good thing for them is, Mumbai aren’t in the best of forms this season which probably means Delhi are favourites heading into this game. Mumbai however, can never be ruled out. Prithvi Shaw's availability is still a concern for Delhi while Mumbai will look to rest some big names and try out few more youngsters. Stay tuned for the toss and other updates.

Welcome to the coverage of probably the biggest game of the group stage! The one which will decide who finishes 4th. A win for Delhi will mean it is them who will go through whereas a loss for them will see Bangalore to the playoffs. For Mumbai, it’s all about pride. A win for them will change nothing on the table, they though have a chance to spoil Delhi’s party and they would love to do so. All to play for Delhi and we expect a cracker of a game.
