That is all we have from this game. The second match of the Super Saturday between Delhi and Bangalore have already started. So, you can switch the tabs and join us there. From here, it is goodbye!

KL Rahul is the Player of the Match for his brilliant century.

Marcus Stoinis is up for a chat. He says that it was a great evening. Tells that there were a lot of twists and turns and such things happen as this is a great competition. Tells that de Kock got them to a flier and Rahul played amazingly well. Mentions that everyone knew what they had to do. Tells that he had a different role compared to the last game but it paid off and is happy.

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai says that it is hard to put it in words. Mentions that 199 on this pitch was chaseable and they needed partnerships but lacked that. Adds that Lucknow bat quite deep so they wanted their key bowlers at the backend but it didn't work out. Tells that Bumrah bowled very well but others need to pull up their socks. Says that every game they play, they try to find the best 11 and unless they win games, they can't get the right 11. Further adds that Rahul batted brilliantly and till the end and that is something which is missing in their top order. Ends by saying that he tries to prepare just like any other game but it is not coming off but he backs himself and just enjoys out there. Tells that it is not the end of the world, they have come back from a similar situation before and they will try to come back again.

The match was won in the fielding department. Mumbai made too many mistakes but Lucknow were on top of their game today. The players backed the bowlers who were outstanding throughout the game. It was a good batting pitch but Lucknow made sure to take wickets at regular intervals. The skipper, KL Rahul's ton did not go in vain as Lucknow bowled really well. Avesh Khan was the pick of the bowlers who took three wickets while others kept the pressure from the other end as well. With this win, Lucknow move to second position with 8 points. Two newcomers on top of the point tables right now.

Mumbai were in trouble at the start by losing Rohit for yet another low score but it was Brevis's innings of 31 off 13 deliveries that helped them end the Powerplay on a high. He fell later and Mumbai were 3 down and looked upon Yadav once again to save them. SKY and Varma kept the scoreboard ticking and took the game deep. Few hopes were dead when Suryakumar Yadav perished but it was the big man, Pollard who kept the faith alive. A substantial innings was needed from him and something spectacular was required but the chase was just too big for the big man. Jaydev Unadkat and Murugan Ashwin tried hard but a lot was left at the end for them to chase.

When it rains it pours and it is pouring heavily right now on Mumbai. It is now 6 games without a win and Mumbai continue to be the prime holder of the wooden spoon. Credit to Lucknow who kept it simple and kept their nerve till the end.

Commentary

We are back for Mumbai's reply! The players stroll out to the middle. Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma are the openers for Mumbai. Jason Holder to start with the ball for Lucknow. Let's go...

... THE RUN CHASE ...

Right then! 200 is what Mumbai have to chase and it is a mountain to climb. They have lost five matches on the trot and the onus is on their batters to hand them their first win. Will they be able to do so? Or will Lucknow bowlers step up and hand them another defeat? We shall find out. Stay tuned to see how the chase unfolds.

Manish Pandey is up for a chat. He says it was a typical KL Rahul performance and the team is happy with the performance. Adds that apart from the last over, they were looking at 210 but still happy with the total and he hopes the bowlers do the rest of the job. Tells the wicket is really good and on his innings, he was not much pleased early in the season but he is ready to help his team whenever required.

Mumbai didn't have the best of starts and had to scratch their heads to find the breakthrough initially but the debutant Fabian Allen provided them that in the last over of the Powerplay. They though didn't capitalize on the pressure they created and allowed Lucknow to dictate terms. They had no answers to Rahul's onslaught and found it tough to get going. Jasprit Bumrah though went wicketless bowled a great spell and Jaydev Unadkat too was brilliant in the last over but they will be disappointed how others performed especially Tymal Mills who went for 54 runs in the 3 overs he bowled. That might prove to be costly. It is upto their batters once again to chase this huge score and get their first win of the season.

Lucknow got off to a flying start as both Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul were scoring along well and stitched 52-runs for the opening stand but immediately after that Quinton de Kock departed. KL Rahul and Manish Pandey though consolidated nicely and eased off the pressure. Pandey played well for his 38 but it was Rahul who stole the limelight as he kept smashing boundaries for fun. The foundation was led upfront and KL Rahul being relentless notched up a scintillating century and helped his side put 199 on the board which is a good score on this pitch.

What a knock from KL Rahul! The Lucknow skipper led from the front and that has helped his side put on a huge total on the board. Barring Jasprit Bumrah and Jaydev Unadkat, Mumbai bowlers proved to be expensive and they weren't helped by their fielding either. They again have a huge target to chase and would be feeling some pressure now. Lucknow would feel they have got runs on the board and would be confident of defending it down.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! It's been a good over for Mumbai so far! Short ball, on middle. Hooda tries to ramp it over the keeper but is late to his shot. The ball takes the toe end of his bat and goes to Kishan who pouches it comfortably.

We are all set for the action. The last pep talk from Rohit Sharma before they disperse to their respective position. KL Rahul (Playing his 100th game) and Quinton de Kock are the openers for Lucknow. Tilak Varma will start the proceedings. Let's play...

Quinton de Kock is up for a chat. He says the environment is on a high and they have done well till now and hopes to tick on today and get a win. Adds with Rahul, there is a mutual understanding and they understand each other quite well. Tells that they need to get the momentum back and they know, Mumbai will come hard on them but they are ready.

KL Rahul, the captain of Lucknow says that they are playing some good cricket and there are positive vibes in the dressing room as well. Tells that they have got a good bunch of players and all are coming together as a group. Adds that there is one change as Manish Pandey comes back in.

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai says that they will bowl first. Mentions that it's a day game so they wanted to get a slower bowler in Fabian Allen. Tells that it is a good pitch to play cricket and with his experience, it will be good for them. Informs that they have got Mills, Brevis, Allen and Pollard as their 4 overseas players. Tells that they just try to keep calm and keep things under control. Adds that they don't need to overcomplicate things and will just play basic cricket.

Lucknow (Playing XI) - KL Rahul (C), Quinton de Kock (WK), Manish Pandey (In for Krishnappa Gowtham), Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni, Jason Holder, Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis, Dushmantha Chameera, Avesh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi.

Mumbai (Playing XI) - Rohit Sharma (C), Ishan Kishan (WK), Dewald Brevis, Tilak Varma, Suryakumar Yadav, Kieron Pollard, Fabian Allen (In for Basil Thampi), Jaydev Unadkat, Murugan Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Tymal Mills.

TOSS - Up goes the coin and it lands in the favour of Mumbai. They have elected to BOWL first.

PITCH REPORT - Graeme Swann is near the pitch and he reckons that this pitch was used for match 2 - Mumbai vs Delhi and it is very good for batting and it is hard. Tells that there is a bit of grass covering and there was some good bounce in that game as well. Mentions that the bowlers will get more value by bowling short. Informs that it's a lovely batting track and he'd be tempted to bat first, pile runs on the board and win the game.

Fabian Allen gets his cap from Kieron Pollard. He is all set to make his debut for Mumbai.

Lucknow have a more balanced outfit and have been in better recent form. They lost their last match but before that were on a 3-match winning streak. The side has been bolstered by the arrival of Marcus Stoinis who nearly pulled off a heist against Rajasthan. Their bowling attack looks good and their batting order looks settled as well. They would be confident to get back on winning track as they are up against the current wooden spoon holders. Will Lucknow come out on top? Or will Mumbai finally get their first win? We shall find out. Toss and team news in a bit.

Mumbai have been one of the best teams in the Indian T20 League for many years and their records speaks for itself but their present has been catastrophically compromised. Winless in five games, Mumbai need to find their feet and start winning. Their middle order has performed really well and it is their opening pair that needs to start firing now. In the bowling front, barring Jasprit Bumrah, the bowling hasn't been upto the mark and that has to be noticed. Mumbai are in the dumps but the five-time champions have been in that scenario before and they know how to come out of it. But will they be able to counter Lucknow?

Hello, hello, hello and welcome to the first match of the Super Saturday where Mumbai will be crossing swords against Lucknow. Both teams are coming after a defeat and would want to get winning momentum but it is Mumbai who needs this win more as they are yet to record their first win of the season. With plenty of starpower in both teams, a cracking contest beckons at the Brabourne Stadium.
