Right then! That is all we have from this game! Each game is a knockout from hereon and we have another crunch game lined up as Kolkata will take on Lucknow on Wednesday, 18th May at 7.30 pm IST (2 pm GMT). But make sure you tune in early for the build-up. Till then, goodbye and cheers!

Rahul Tripathi is adjudged as the Player of the Match for his brilliant 76 off 44 deliveries. He says that he enjoys batting at number 3 and he loves the responsibility given to him. Adds that Bumrah is a great bowler and he feels lucky to have pulled off that pull shot. Tells that he counter-attack, only after assessing the situation and takes on the bowler accordingly. Mentions that strike rate is important but contributing to a winning cause is always special. Says that he tries to take it ball-by-ball and goes on to say that every ball is an event in T20. He further adds that if the national selectors feel that he is capable of winning games for his country, he will certainly get a chance to play for India.

Kane Williamson, the skipper of Hyderabad. He says it was nice to break the streak but before that, the momentum was not on their side. On being asked about Rahul Tripathi, he says he is a really special player. Tells that Malik bowls really fast and its a real bonus for them, his contribution doesn't go away. On being asked about Priyam Garg, he says that Garg is another talented cricket and says we will see a lot more of him as well, he has got a really good head on his shoulders, a lot of potential but a lot of skill as well. Admits that death bowling has been their strength and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is one of the best in this tournament at the death. His contribution at the end was a match-winning moment.

Presentation coming up...

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is up for a chat! He says that he was just trying to bowl yorkers at the backend. Adds that he was aware about the bigger boundaries on the leg side so he bowled accordingly. Tells that he is quite satisfied about his bowling and he always tries to be economical. On being asked about Umran Malik, he says that he is a raw talent and credits Hyderabad's management for backing a talent like Malik.

Rohit Sharma, the losing skipper says that they were very much in the game till the 18th over. Adds that 19 runs from 12 balls were very much gettable but they failed to deliver. Tells that they wanted to try some players in this game but applauds Hyderabad by saying that they batted really well. Mentions that they pulled things back well with the ball. Says that they will look to give it their all in the last game and they will also try some more players in the last game.

Hyderabad will be relieved as they are still in the race for playoffs! The victory didn't come easy for them and it was due to some excellent bowling, in the end, that helped them find the victory. Umran Malik showed his brilliance again as after going for 17 runs in his first over, he came back brilliantly and took three wickets in his next two. T Natarajan though almost cost them the game at the backend but Bhuvneshwar Kumar covered it well and eventually, they got the job done.

Mumbai were off to a superb start as both openers finally stitched a partnership in this competition. The 95-run stand meant Mumbai boss the first half but both fell in quick succession and suddenly Mumbai were reeling at 127 for 4. It was David who kept the hopes alive and boy, he brought his team near the line but a small margin of error from him and he lost his wicket and ultimately Mumbai failed to chase the total down.

The last ball off the 18th over won the game for Hyderabad. Tim David's wicket was the turning point and credit to Hyderabad for keeping their nerves later as well. 19 runs were needed off the last two overs and you back the batting side but Bhuvneshwar Kumar came up with a wicket-maiden over and that helped them cross the line.

What a game! What an entertaining game of cricket this was! And surely, Tim David had the game in his palms but his wicket changed the fortunes for Mumbai! Hyderabad will be relieved as a win means they keep their playoffs hope alive.

Commentary

We are back for the chase! The players have made their way out to the middle. Out come Mumbai's openers - Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. Fazalhaq Farooqi will start proceedings with the ball. Here we go...

... THE RUN CHASE ...

Right then! Mumbai require 194 runs to register their fourth win of the season. They will have to face the formidable bowling attack of Hyderabad and it won't be an easy task for Rohit Sharma and his troops. Will they be able to spoil Hyderabad's party? We shall find that shortly.

Priyam Garg is up for a chat. He says he enjoyed batting in the middle. Adds that the franchise told him he will open the batting at some point and he kept practicing. Tells that the ball was coming slowly early on but it came nicely later on in the innings. Feels that the score is par, and they should have scored 10-15 runs more, looking at the way they played in the middle overs.

Mumbai were under the pump when Priyam Garg and Rahul Tripathi were going along nicely, but it was Ramandeep Singh who got the breakthrough and brought Mumbai back into the contest. Their spinners did take some beating and it was Ramandeep Singh who was given the 18th over, which turned the tide completely in Mumbai's over. Singh finished with a total of 3 wickets and it was because of his spell that Mumbai managed to keep Hyderabad under 200.

For Hyderabad, it was the partnership between Priyam Garg and Rahul Tripathi that set the tone for them, after they lost Abhishek Sharma for a timid score early on. Both Garg as well as Tripathi took the attack to Mumbai's bowlers and put them under pressure. Although, Garg fell for 42, but then came Pooran who smashed the ball to all parts of the ground. He scored 38 runs off just 22 balls and kept Hyderabad ahead in the game. Tripathi too, perished at the backend and Hyderabad failed to capitalize in the last 4 overs.

Just 29 runs off the last 4 overs, at the cost of 4 wickets, and Mumbai have come back strongly at the backend. Hyderabad were cruising along at one point and it seemed like 220 was on the cards but some brilliant bowling and fielding in the fag end has ensured that Hyderabad do not run away with the first innings total. The Orange Army would be a tad disappointed as they certainly lost the momentum after losing Pooran in the 17th over.

19.52

Too full and on off. Sundar jams it out to deep mid-wicket and comes back for the second run. 7 runs off it. Can Jasprit Bumrah finish it well?

19.40

Absolutely brilliant from Jasprit Bumrah! A low full toss, on middle. Sundar strokes it back to Bumrah who does well to get his shoes in the way and stops it.

19.31

A length ball, outside off. Kane Williamson looks to cut but gets an outside edge to backward point where another solid dive saves a certain boundary. Just a single.

We are all set for the action. The Mumbai players are in the huddle while the openers of Hyderabad - Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma make their way out in the middle. Daniel Sams is all set to start with the ball. Here we go...

Nicholas Pooran is up for a chat. He says they are just focusing on what they have done as a team. They want to finish on a high and there's a possibility that they can qualify as well but have to win the last two games. Shares that he's doing the job, he has been asked to do but the last couple of games were disappointing. He could have done something special but he ran out of partners. Mentions that he tries to learn every time from the likes of Kane Williamson, Brian Lara, Dale Steyn, and Muttiah Muralitharan, they are legends of this game and have a lot of knowledge as well. On being asked about team Mumbai, he says they have been successful in the last couple of games,  they are picking up some decent momentum but they are looking forward to the challenge.

Kane Williamson, the skipper of Hyderabad, says that they wanted to bat first anyway. Adds that it looks like a dry surface and they want to put up a good total on the board. Informs that they have made a couple of changes to their side - Priyam Garg and Fazalhaq Farooqi come in for Shashank Singh and Marco Jansen respectively. Says that Priyam Garg will be opening the batting for them.

Rohit Sharma, the skipper of Mumbai, says they will bowl first, they just want to try different things and bowling first is working for them as well. Informs there are two changes, two spinners are out and Mayank Markande and Sanjay Yadav come in. Admits they have to keep an eye on certain players and for the team's future as well. Mentions that the core group should continue to play and they thought about resting some players but they will try it out in the last game.

Hyderabad (Playing XI) - Abhishek Sharma, Priyam Garg (In for Shashank Singh), Kane Williamson (C), Aiden Markram, Rahul Tripathi, Nicholas Pooran (WK), Washington Sundar, Fazalhaq Farooqi (In for Marco Jansen), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik.

Mumbai (Playing XI) - Rohit Sharma (C), Ishan Kishan (WK), Sanjay Yadav (On debut) (In for Hrithik Shokeen), Tilak Varma, Tristan Stubbs, Tim David, Daniel Sams, Mayank Markande (In for Kumar Kartikeya), Ramandeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Riley Meredith.

TOSS - Mumbai have won the toss and they have elected to BOWL first.

PITCH REPORT - Matthew Hayden is near the pitch. He says the wicket as always looks a very good one. Adds there isn't a lot of grass, and whatever little there is, is dry. Mentions there are some cracks, and the spinners should come into play and pace off the ball, should control the middle overs. Shares the wickets at this stage of the competition look torn and 170-180 should be a par score. Informs runs on the board will be important as dew has not played a big factor.

Hyderabad are coming into this clash at the back of five losses in a row and finds themselves in deep trouble. They need to win their remaining two games by a good margin and hope that the other results go their way. They have a solid bowling attack but it is their batters who have been inconsistent throughout the season. Can the Orange Army put on a show at Wankhede, or will Mumbai spoil Hyderabad's party and register yet another win? We shall find that soon. Stay tuned for toss and further updates.

Mumbai have been well below-par this season but they have managed to find some form in the latter half of the tournament, having won three out of their last four games. They were the first team to be eliminated from the playoffs race, but having said that, Rohit Sharma and his troops would be itching to end the season on a high with more wins under their belt.

Hello and a warm welcome to game number 65 of the Indian T20 League, where Mumbai will take on Hyderabad at the iconic Wankhede Stadium. The 5-time champions will be playing for pride, while the Kane Williamson-led Hyderabad would be looking to get a comprehensive win, as they still have a slim chance of making it to the playoffs.

...MATCH DAY...
