That's all we have from New Zealand's quick tour of the Netherlands. As expected, the scoreline is 2-0. Now, the Black Caps will fly to West Indies for a 3-match ODI and T20I series. As far as the Dutch team is concerned, Pakistan are expected to visit them for a 3-match ODI series in August. We look forward to your company in future. Until then, it's goodbye and cheers.

Mitchell Santner, the Kiwi skipper, says that the pitch played a lot better and the New Zealand bowlers bowled quite smartly. Mentions that they got off to a good start and then carried it forward. Shares that he promoted himself to number 3 to counter the left-arm spinners and it worked well for them. Praises Bas de Leede for his knock. Tells that the intent his team showed throughout the chase was amazing and praises Daryl Mitchell for his knock. Mentions that the team is in good spirits and is looking forward to the next challenge in West Indies.

Scott Edwards, the Dutch skipper, says that 160 could have been a par score but admits that the way they bowled and fielded, they are not sure what a good score would have been on this surface. Tells that you can't afford to misfield and drop catches against a top team. Praises Bas de Leede and says that he has been sensational for them for the last year or so. Feels that this is the sort of cricket they want to be playing in their build-up to the T20 World Cup.

Presentation coming up...

The Black Caps were below-par in both the departments of the game in the first T20I but showed vast improvement. Their bowlers were brilliant in the Powerplay and then at the death to restrict the Netherlands to a gettable total. Mitchell Santner will be delighted with the way the team responded and they will look to carry the same momentum forward.

Chasing a target of 148, New Zealand did lose their openers cheaply but Mitchell Santner promoted himself at number three and along with Daryl Mitchell, he raised an unbeaten century stand to overhaul the target with utmost ease. Santner showed his prowess with the bat to notch up his maiden fifty in T20Is and finished with a 42-ball 77. His knock was studded with nine fours and four biggies. Mitchell played a lovely supporting role and towards the end, he opened his arms and hammered a few lusty blows to take New Zealand home at a canter.

Total domination! What an outstanding batting performance by the Kiwis! They were off-colour in the first game but turned up with full force in this one and decimated the Dutch team. A win with six overs to spare - ruthless!

Commentary

We're back with the chase! The Dutch team is on the field along with the umpires. Martin Guptill and Finn Allen are the powerful opening pair for the Kiwis. Clayton Floyd is ready to bowl the first over. Here we go...

... CHASE BEGINS ...

It was a much-improved bowling show by the Black Caps. They bowled with discipline in the Powerplay and also in the end overs. Although in the middle overs they lost control and gave away a few runs, it didn't hurt them much at the backend. 148 is a challenging target and if the New Zealand batting doesn't improve from the last game, we could be in for a close finish. Stay tuned...

The Netherlands batting was once again mainly about Bas de Leede. He was the nucleus around whom their innings revolved. Stephan Myburgh provided them with a decent start but the hosts lost their way after losing three wickets inside eight overs. It was the stand between de Leede and Tom Cooper that propelled the Dutch team in the middle phase and then towards the end, skipper Scott Edwards also contributed to the cause and took the Netherlands total near the 150-run mark.

Not the kind of finish that the Netherlands wanted but still they have put a challenging total on the board. 12 runs came off the final over and the hosts will feel that they have ended this innings strongly. New Zealand didn't pick up any wicket in the last five overs but they bowled disciplined lines and improved their death bowling from last evening.

Scott Edwards, the captain of the Netherlands, starts by informing us that Vikramjit Singh is playing today. Mentions about batting well and focusing on creating partnerships to put a good total on the board.

Pitch report - The conditions are windy at the moment. The deck might offer some variable pace and bounce. There is some artificial grass on the surface but it's dry in nature. 160 could be a par score here.

New Zealand (Playing XI) - Martin Guptill, Finn Allen, Dane Cleaver (WK), Daryl Mitchell, Glenn Phillips, James Neesham, Michael Bracewell (In for Lockie Ferguson), Mitchell Santner (C), Ish Sodhi, Ben Sears, Blair Tickner.

Netherlands (Playing XI) - Stephan Myburgh, Max O'Dowd, Bas de Leede, Tom Cooper, Vikramjit Singh (In for Teja Nidamanuru), Scott Edwards (C) (WK), Logan van Beek, Tim Pringle, Ryan Klein, Shariz Ahmad, Clayton Floyd.

Toss - We are ready for the toss. Scott Edwards is lucky with the coin and NETHERLANDS WILL BAT FIRST!
