OUT! CAUGHT! For a moment, it looked to be going all the way but Calum MacLeod remained cool as a cucumber. In the slot and Zeeshan Maqsood flat-bats it towards the wide long off fence. Maqsood does strike it well but the ball goes very flat. Calum MacLeod moves swiftly to his right in the deep and takes a sharp catch. The skipper departs after a fighting knock.

Maqsood tries to get funky but ends up missing it completely. A fuller delivery, around off, Maqsood is well inside his crease as he looks to play the reverse paddle but can't change his grip in time and ends up not making any connection.

Zeeshan Maqsood, the skipper of Oman, says that they will bat first today and will look to post a good total and defend. Adds that the pitch will play a bit differently in the second innings and there might be some spin as well and they'll look to put runs on the board. Mentions that they have a couple of changes in the XI - Suraj Kumar and Khawar Ali come in for Kaleemullah and Ayaan Khan.

Update - Bangladesh have steamrolled PNG by 84 runs to qualify for the Super 12. This game between Oman and Scotland is now a straight knockout and the winning team will book the last spot available in Group B.

This is the last game of Group B and Oman in the first game of this group got off to a thumping start as they beat Papua New Guinea by 10 wickets. In the next game, however, against a stronger opponent Bangladesh, they went down by 26 runs. Scotland, on the other hand, will be high on confidence as they beat Bangladesh in their opening encounter and followed it up with another win against Papua New Guinea. Oman have a superior net run rate than Scotland while the Scottish team has been unbeatable so far. Can Oman put another spirited performance here and advance to the Super 12? Or will Scotland emerge victorious again?

Hello and a very warm welcome to this crucial Group B encounter between Oman and Scotland. Scotland are coming into this game on the back of winning both their earlier matches in the tournament. Oman, on the other hand, started their campaign with a win but suffered a heartbreaking loss in their second game. The group is still wide open and three teams are in with a chance to advance into the next round. A win here for any of these two sides will see them through to the next round.
