Right then! That is all we have from this match and the ODI series as well. The Aussies were victorious in the Test series and Pakistan have now won the ODI series to get on level terms. There is still action left in this tour as there is a one-off T20I match left and both teams will be looking to win that and take bragging rights. That match will be played on the 5th of April at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Action will begin at 8.30 pm IST (3 pm GMT) but the build-up will begin much sooner. Join us then. Take care and goodbye!

Ramiz Raja, the President of the Pakistan Cricket Board take the mic and has a few words to say to the crowd as he thanks them for their continued love and support. He then presents the ODI series trophy to Babar Azam who lifts it and celebrates with his team. The Pakistan team then pose for a winning team photo.

Babar Azam, the Pakistan skipper is the Player of the Match as well as the Player of the Series for notching up 276 runs (1 fifty and 2 hundreds) in the series. He says that after losing the first match, one needs confidence to come back and credits his team for coming back strongly and putting up a good performance. Tells that if one gets early wickets in the first 10 overs then the opposition gets under pressure and the bowlers executed the plan very well. Mentions that he enjoys the pressure and tries to keep himself calm. Adds that as a captain he focuses on the result and not individual performance.

Australian skipper Aaron Finch says that they just didn't get enough runs and it's hard to put up a total when the team is three down so early on. Adds that the bowlers gave it their all and is proud of them and they just tried to go hard with the bat even after the wickets fell because any score less than 250-260 would be below par. Mentions that Travis Head and Ben McDermott played really well throughout the series and applauds the bowlers for their valiant efforts in all three matches and adds that there are a lot of positives and negatives to take away from this match. He ends by saying that they love the support here and is looking forward to the T20I match.

Presentation ceremony...

Well, the final match of the series didn't turn out to be the contest we were hoping for but nevertheless, we got to see a lot of exciting individual performances. Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Mohammad Wasim with the ball were pretty good and then the blitz from Sean Abbott, taking Afridi to the cleaners and finally the dynamic duo of Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam putting on yet another top-class performance. In the end, the hosts came out on top and ended up winning the ODI series. The presentation ceremony is up next.

The leading run-scorer in the series, Imam-ul-Haq is down for a quick chat. Imam says that the way the boys came back from the defeat in the first ODI is amazing. Says that it is all about self-belief and hats off to everyone for stepping up. Tells that he is a mature player now and says that he is working very hard. Mentions that Babar is his best friend and he gets along with him very well. He thanks his coaches for the support they showed him. Tells that criticism is a part of the game and he does not focus on that but he has worked hard on his game and is glad that he was able to contribute with the bat.

Revenge is sweet and after the heartbreak in the Test series, the hosts have some relief as they come from behind to clinch the ODI series. Imam-ul-Haq has certainly been like a rock at the top for Pakistan and getting him out has been the hardest thing in this series. Once again he showed his class and along with skipper Babar Azam, the pair added on 190-runs to seal the victory. Talking about Babar, he went on to score back-to-back tons and has cemented his place as a true great of the game. What a commanding performance with the bat and both batters ended up with well over 250-runs in the series, a phenomenal feat in itself.

Australia had a depleted squad and especially in the bowling department, they were fairly inexperienced. The firepower at the top though was prolific in the first two matches and with no decent score from anyone in the top four, the visitors were halfway out of the contest then and there. The bowlers had a difficult job at hand and given that most have them have never played at the highest level in such conditions, it was a near-impossible task. Nathan Ellis gave them hope at the start by sending Fakhar Zaman back but soon the hosts took the game away and the Aussies were handed a thumping defeat as they couldn't pick up another wicket in the whole innings. They will now turn their attention to the one-off T20I.

A first ODI series victory at home for Pakistan against Australia since 1988 and what a way to do it! After losing the Test series on the final day and being humbled in the first ODI, Babar Azam and co have come roaring back to clinch the three-match series 2-1 with a complete performance in the final match.

Commentary

We are back for the chase! The players stroll out to the middle. Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman are the openers for Pakistan. Jason Behrendorff to start with the ball. Here we go...

... THE RUN CHASE ...

Right then! 211 for Pakistan to chase and should not be a difficult one considering they chased down 349 on the same track in the second ODI. Their batters are in good form and Pakistan would be banking on them to perform and win the series. Australia need their bowlers to step up and they would want early wickets here. If they manage to get that, we are in for a thriller. Stay tuned to find out how things pan out.

Haris Rauf is up for a chat. He says that Finch's pads are to be targeted early on and they got success doing just that. Adds that how the wickets are here, one has to bowl stump to stump and one needs to be accurate because Australia have good batters. Mentions that how they won the second match gave the team a morale booster and we just want to give 100 percent and the results will come. Also adds that the coaching staff is very helpful and they always back them to do well. Ends by saying the form in which Imam and Zaman are in, hopefully, it's a simple chase.

Pakistan bowlers were just breathing fire. Shaheen Afridi set the tone by getting a wicket off the first ball and then Haris Rauf bagged two in quick succession to blow Australia away. The bowlers continued to bowl with discipline and kept things very tight. They had to work a little hard to break Carey'-Green's resilience and were frustrated by Abbott's knock but still their pacers have performed well as a unit and would fancy this chase. Each and every bowlers got a wicket at least and bowled in unison. Mohammad Wasim and Haris Rauf were the stars for Pakistan picking up 3 wickets apieice.

Australia were left in complete disarray as they lost Travis Head and Aaron Finch for ducks and then Marnus Labuschagne also fell cheaply. They were reeling at 6/3 and needed a long partnership to get out of the rut. Ben McDermott and Marcus Stoinis did build a partnership but didn't last long enough as the latter fell. Cameron Green and Alex Carey's partnership seemed to be threatening but once that was broken, everything was left on the tailenders to make an impact which was always going to be a tough ask. However, Sean Abbott played a blinder adding some valuable runs and helped his team get past 200 and made sure their bowlers have a chance to make something out of this match.

300+ scores batting first in both the ODIs and you'd think Australia would once again rack up runs this time considering it's the same pitch they are playing on but this time it wasn't to be. Except for Carey and a counter-punch from Abbott, no one made an impact and kept losing wickets. A decent performance from them and they have been bundled for 210. Pakistan bowlers were right on the money from the start. They had to toil hard for the last wicket but nevertheless, it was a wonderful display of fast bowling from the hosts and would take this score on any given day.

41.5W

OUT! CAUGHT! Boy, Pakistan were made work hard for this last wicket but finally they get it. Credit to Sean Abbott though for playing an exceptional knock. He has added some valuable runs for his side here. Short ball from Rauf, on middle. Sean Abbott looks to ramp it over short third man but miscues it straight to Mohammad Wasim there. Australia have been bundled out for 210.

41.40

Fuller, on off. Driven towards covers.

41.32

Two again! Short and on off, Sean Abbott pulls it hard and to deep square leg. The fielder there runs to his left and stops the ball from racing away. Good fielding and keeps it down to two.

41.22

Sean Abbott is playing a terrific knock here! Short of a length, outside off. Sean Abbott tries to pull but gets his gloves on it and the balls to third man for a brace.

41.10

On a length, outside off. Sean Abbott slaps it to long on and denies the single.

Tossed up, on off and this is pushed towards cover.

40.34

FOUR! Sean Abbott takes full advantage of the life he got on the previous ball. Dragged down, around off, this is slapped through covers for a boundary.

40.20

A comedy of errors as three fielders are stood still looking at each other. Short and around off. Abbott looks to power it down the ground but gets a top edge towards point. The keeper, the point fielder and one more fielder run towards it but no one calls for it or goes for it. Abbott survives.

38.36

38.14

OUT! TIMBER! A dream start for Pakistan and Shaheen Afridi! Travis Head is in the form of his life but has to depart. Aaron Finch for a duck in the second ODI and now Travis Head here for a golden duck. It's difficult to stop Shaheen Afridi when he gets going. An outswinging low full toss, on off, dipping on the way. Travis Head gets beaten by the swing completely and the ball goes past his blade and clips the base of the off stump.

We are ready for play! Once again Babar Azam has opted to chase under lights and the surface is even better than the previous two reckons Waqar Younis. The umpires are out in the middle and so are the Pakistani players. The Australian opening pair of skipper Aaron Finch and Travis Head make their way to the middle as well. Shaheen Afridi has the new ball in hand and is raring to go. Let's play...

Australia (Playing XI) - Aaron Finch (C), Travis Head, Ben McDermott, Marnus Labuschagne, Marcus Stoinis, Cameron Green, Alex Carey (WK), Sean Abbott, Nathan Ellis, Adam Zampa and Jason Behrendorff (In for Mitchell Swepson).

Pakistan (Playing XI) - Babar Azam (C), Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Asif Ali (In for Saud Shakeel), Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Wasim, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Zahid Mahmood.

TOSS - Up goes the flip of the coin and it lands in favour of Pakistan. They have elected to BOWL first.

Australia lost the second ODI but they would still be confident coming into this game as their batters have batted beautifully throughout. They would want their bowlers to step up this time and win the game for them. They will be keen to come out guns blazing and win the series in Pakistan's home soil. Toss and team news coming up shortly.

Chasing a mammoth total of 349 in the second ODI, Pakistan did not stutter even a bit during the chase and cracked their highest successful run chase in ODIs. They will be riding high on confidence after that win and need their batters to put up a spirited performance again and win the series.

Hello and a warm welcome to the coverage of the third and final ODI between Australia and Pakistan. If Australia won the first ODI comfortably then Pakistan put up a show in the second ODI and the series is now nicely poised at 1-1. Both teams would give their all in this game but only one team will emerge victorious. Which team will take the series home? We shall find out soon.
