PITCH REPORT - Samuel Badree is near the pitch. He says that conditions are quite satisfactory, the concerns are near the inner circle as there were a few damp patches, but with the sun out, that should not be a problem. Adds that the pitch is quite firm, it is quite hard as well, with some grass on one side but bare patches on the other side. Adds that the start is very important, whoever gets to a good start will carry that momentum.

Nicholas Pooran, the skipper of West Indies, when asked about their recent ODI form says that they need to stick to the process, build partnerships and win big moments. On his own batting performance, he says that he is not worried and will stick to his game and get through it. Says Gudakesh Motie will be making his debut and he is looking forward to seeing how he plays.

Tamim Iqbal the captain of Bangladesh says that they are going to bowl first, the pitch has been under cover for the past two days and they will try to restrict West Indies. Mentions that this a format they have done well, but nothing to take away from West Indies they have been terrific. Adds that his preparation has not been the best but he is hoping he can step up today. Informs that they are playing with 6 batters and 5 bowlers.
