Update 2:10 pm Local (7:10 pm GMT) - Early Tea has been taken. Plus, the visuals from the ground show that the drizzle has stopped for now. We should hopefully get some action soon. We now hear that play will resume at 2:45 pm Local (7:45 pm GMT)!

Things could get really interesting if and when play resumes. Assuming that cloud cover will still be around, it could assist the pacers but Pakistan will also be wary of another interruption. The wicket of Mayers is a big bonus for them at this moment as they move closer to bowling at the bowlers. But the West Indies tail is also capable of batting out as seen in the last Test. For all this to happen though, first it must stop raining. Fingers crossed for just that.

Update 1:51 pm Local (6:51 pm GMT) - Here come the covers. It has started raining now and the covers are coming in. It has gotten really overcast in the last few overs. The damp patch which delayed action on Day 3 is now covered. Pakistani camp will be quite frustrated due to this rain break. Nothing much to talk about the batting so far. Only Kraigg Brathwaite has looked in control out there in the middle and he even has had some luck go his away as his catch was dropped. Kyle Mayers joins him in the middle now and it is imperative from their perspective that the southpaw gives his skipper company for quite a long time. What will happen? Pakistan were sensational with the ball. They once again kept things tight and bowled in the right channels. Shaheen Afridi started the day well and got the first wicket. Then, Hasan Ali was the one who provided two quick wickets to push them further to victory and right when a stand was building, it was Nauman Ali who broke it to put a cherry on top for them. They would now look to wrap things up as quickly as possible. Abid Ali did drop Kraigg Brathwaite but they need to be patient as a couple of more wickets means that they will have a go at the bowlers.

A really good session for Pakistan and they are inching closer to victory and to level the series. They needed early wickets and did find just that. Kraigg Brathwaite and Jermaine Blackwood tried to repair things, but Jermaine Blackwood's dismissal just before Lunch has put Pakistan in firm control of the game.

We are all set for play on Day 5. The umpires make their way onto the field, followed by Alzarri Joseph and Kraigg Brathwaite, the overnight batters for West Indies. The Pakistan players spread out on the field and it's going to be Shaheen Afridi to get proceedings underway with the ball.

Samuel Badree says that it is expected to be an excellent day weatherwise. Jeff Dujon says that many deliveries will stay low as the cracks have opened up. Adds that the bowlers will look to attack the stumps.

Jermaine Blackwood is down for a chat, he says that they will look to bat session by session. Adds that he looks to time the ball and take his time to score runs. Says that he is a very confident player and the team is confident too. Further says, the players who have not gotten runs so far can be expected to do something special. About the pitch, says that it will stay a bit low and they need to overcome it.

Kraigg Brathwaite has a huge role to play for the hosts. He is someone who can play the long innings once set. The Windies skipper batted well on Day 4 and would look to continue to do that this morning. The task is not an easy one as Pakistani pacers will come hard at him, making for an exciting battle. The rest of the West Indies batting needs to pull up their socks and bat much better than they did in the first innings.

Hello and a warm welcome to Day 5 of the second Test match between West Indies and Pakistan. With all three results still possible, we are in for an action-packed day of Test match cricket. 14 wickets fell in total on Day 4 and if that is anything to go by, West Indies will have to bat out of their skins today. Pakistan came out all guns blazing with the bat and declared at 176/6, setting West Indies a target of 329 runs. The opening pair for West Indies was going along nicely before an elementary mistake from Kieran Powell provided Pakistan with a lucky breakthrough. Well, what an amazing day of Test cricket we witnessed. Also, luckily it was without any interruptions by the rain gods. Hopefully, it remains the same on Day 5. This game can go anywhere from this point. West Indies need 280 more runs to win, with 98 overs to be bowled, only if the weather permits. The visitors, on the other hand, have to hunt down 9 remaining wickets to level the series. Although they failed to find any movement from the surface in the final session, Pakistan would hope it changes on Day 5. We have a thrilling last day coming up for you all. Shaheen Afridi, is up for a chat. He says he just tried to bowl good lines and lengths which brought him early success. Goes onto say he got a good bowling partnership which helped him achieve his best figures in Test cricket. Mentions Test cricket is very difficult and all the teams do well in this format. Goes onto say he only aimed to take on the ball and it just got him a free run out. Ends by saying tomorrow is a big day and they will come out with an intent to fight and level the series.

Pakistan lost their heat with the ball in the final session of play but earlier in the day, they cleaned up West Indies quite easily to gain a 152-run lead. After that, the tourists were breathing fire with the bat right from the off. Imran Butt and Abid Ali were short of runs but they got them in the second innings in style. The opening stand of 70 runs set Pakistan on their way and everyone that followed chipped in with some quick runs. The skipper was the last man to get dismissed before declaring on 176/6 with a lead of 328 runs on the board. Pakistan tried to press the issue with the ball, but their pacers couldn't get much purchase in the final session. They got one breakthrough, which was a lucky one and they'll be looking for improvement on Day 5.

The fightback! West Indies' openers blunted the new ball really well. They did not repeat the same mistakes of their first innings. Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell were on their way to build a solid stand but it was an elementary mistake by the latter which gave the visitors a free breakthrough. It was then a tactical change of getting a nightwatchman into the game and it was Alzarri Joseph once again who came out to play that role. He did well to see off the day's play and the hosts would not be too disappointed with the way Day 4 ended.

Well, it is said that Day 3 is the moving day but in this game, it felt like Day 4 moved pretty quickly, also keeping in mind that Day 2 was completely washed out. West Indies would've loved to go back unscathed but it was not the case. Pakistan still hold the upper hand in this game, but a new day can bring up new challenges.

The replays roll in and show Azam was safe.

...Day 4, Session 3...

It was clearly an attack over defense approach from Pakistan when they came out to bat. Their opening pair, who are known for struggling a lot, batted extremely well, maybe because this time there was no pressure on them. West Indies fought hard and have snared three wickets but they have leaked away way too many runs than expected. West Indies ended the session on a high! The West Indian tail did not last long as they got bulldozed by the Pakistani pacers. When they came out to bowl, West Indies did not expect such an aggressive start from the openers of Pakistan. Both their frontline pacers, Roach and Seales struggled with their lines and lengths and were hit for many boundaries. Alzarri Joseph, Kyle Mayers and Kraigg Braithwaite did manage to pick up a wicket each but West Indies will have to bowl much better if they are to restrict Pakistan from swelling their lead.

Pakistan have a lot of steam in their engine! Pakistan wrapped up things early with the ball after Lunch and then came out all guns blazing with the bat. The openers, Imran Butt and Abid Ali put the West Indies bowlers to the sword and were going more than run-a-ball as they put on 70 runs for the first wicket. Both of them fell in a span of four overs but Azhar Ali and Babar Azam, the two most experienced Pakistani batters were at the crease. But the former fell just before the Tea break. Pakistan go into Tea with a lead of 259 runs.

OUT! CAUGHT! Kraigg Brathwaite picks up a wicket. What a comeback by him, after getting hit for a boundary. Looped up, full and on leg. Ali gets low and looks to sweep it away. The ball takes the top edge and flies towards the man at short fine leg. Jermaine Blackwood settles under it and takes an easy catch. Pakistan lead by 259 runs and THAT WILL BE TEA ON DAY 4.
