Right then. That is all we have from this game and this tour. South Africa have won the Test and T20I series too. Now, West Indies will welcome Australia to their shores and South Africa will travel all the way to Ireland for their next assignment. We hope to have your company for those games. Until next time then. Cheers and take care!

Temba Bavuma, the South African skipper, says that he is very delighted and it has been an incredible effort from the boys. Says that this will boost their confidence and they have not won a lot of series' away from home and this was a good one. Bavuma believes that certain guys have put their hands up in the series, which has been good. Feels that coming to the Caribbean was a good experience for all the boys.

TABRAIZ SHAMSI IS THE PLAYER OF THE SERIES. He says that he does homework behind the scenes, but feels that he had an amazing series and their whole bowling unit has been really good. Says that nobody gave them a chance when the series began and opines that they are inexperienced but there is no lack of skill. Feels that the guys have kept learning from each game.

Kieron Pollard, the West Indies skipper says he thinks the team makes making the same mistake over and over again. The target was not that huge and we could've delivered but we take the positives from the game. He praises the South African side for a great series. He also says the young bowlers have delivered to their level, but it won't take much time for them to show up to the potential. Also states that the Aussies are coming to the Caribbean and that will be good exposure for the players ahead of the World Cup. Ends by saying they look to focus on the current situation and concentrate on the World Cup when the time comes.

AIDEN MARKRAM IS THE PLAYER OF THE MATCH. He says naturally they always look to score runs and deliver. Adds that de Kock has helped him a lot and he has guided him throughout the innings. States that he had a great series. Also says Quinton is a special player and it was a matter of time when he gets it right. Also says credit to the fielding coach who has worked a lot on us behind the scenes and it feels even better when it shows during the game.

Kagiso Rabada is in for a quick chat! He says that Nortje was a big loss for them, due to his performances and they came into this game with a fresh mindset and Mulder did well. Feels that South Africa are rebuilding as a team and they are a hungry group of people. States that they will take confidence from the Test series and also the T20I series.

Wiaan Mulder is up for a chat, he says he is pretty happy with a series win. Adds that it was incredible to bowl against Pollard and Russell and he is glad his game plan worked. States that he thought they were above par, and they had to perform well while bowling and keep it tight. Ends by saying this is really good result that they as a young side could deliver against the big names.

No matter how the bowling performance was, we can surely say that the fielding though has been top-notch. The spinners did the trick for the Proteas in the initial phase of the game. It was Linde to find the first breakthrough as he got Simmons on his way back. Also, Shamsi struck in his second over to get the big man Gayle. He was also the pick of the bowlers because of his economical spell. Ngidi was quiet at first, but later he was able to grab three wickets. Mulder had to prove a lot in this game as he was filling the shoes for Nortje. He had a lot of pressure on him, but boy, did he deliver. He rattled Pollard and Russell in no time to give the edge to South Africa. It was Rabada, the death-over specialist to grab two wickets in the penultimate over and wrap the game up.

The West Indies opening pair got off to a solid start. It was then when Simmons had to make way for Gayle. Post this, it was all about Lewis who went all gun-blazing while Gayle was at the other end. For Gayle, it must've felt as if he is seeing himself in the mirror. Also, Gayle struck a huge six the only one of his innings but he got out to a beauty by Shamsi. Later even Lewis followed his teammate just after getting his fifty. It was Pollard and Hetmyer then who were getting settled in the middle, but Pollard got himself injured which made it difficult for him to survive. Hetmyer and Pooran were in the middle but Hetmyer was a goner in the 18th over. Pooran kept his cool on this situation and kept attacking the balls but could not stay till the end. Bravo also lasted for a couple of deliveries. The burden was all on the tail-enders, and they could not deliver.

The South Africans seal the series as they win it 3-2. They looked in trouble during the initial phase of the game, but West Indies kept losing wickets in short intervals which always held them on the back foot. The Proteas will be happy with this victory away from home soil.

Commentary

We are back for the run chase. The South African players make their way out into the middle. Lendl Simmons and Evin Lewis are the openers for West Indies. Bjorn Fortuin will begin with the ball.

Right then. The Proteas were at around 125 after 14 overs but the middle order was not able to take it to their advantage, as they ended up adding around 40 runs in six overs. The West Indies side needs to chase 169 runs to seal the series. Join us in a while for the chase in this series decider.

Aiden Markram joins for a chat. He says they have come a long way together, and they have good communication in the middle. Also says de Kock has been outstanding in this series. States that it has been difficult to bat on these pitches. Also says he is looking forward to seeing the new bowling pair perform and hopes it works in their favour.

It was Edwards who gave a dream start, as he took a wicket in his first spell to West Indies but they were not able to capitalize on it. The skipper tried various combinations with the bowlers, but they struggled to find a breakthrough. Until, Fidel Edwards was called back into the action in the 15th over, only to dismiss the main man, de Kock. Soon after, McCoy got his first wicket as he deceived Markram with a slower delivery. Gayle and Pollard were good with the ball but were not able to scalp any wickets. The debutant, Hosein, and Russell were expensive from the lot. Bravo also bowled well in the death overs to dismiss van der Dussen.

This has been a good comeback by the hosts! South Africa were running away with their batting, but the last 5 overs have been good for West Indies! Even after a poor start by the skipper Bavuma who got dismissed on a duck in his third ball, de Kock and Markram showed maturity as they stitched a really important partnership of over 125 runs. Soon, de Kock had to make his way back into the shed after knocking 60 runs. Later Markram found himself in the dugout, after scoring 70 runs. Also, van der Dussen failed to impress today. It was then Miller and Mulder to power the innings to 168.

Right then. Done with all the pre-match formalities as the action is all set to begin. But before that, the players take a knee to show their support for the 'Black Lives Matter' movement. Temba Bavuma and Quinton de Kock are the openers for South Africa. Fidel Edwards to begin with the ball. Here we go...

PITCH REPORT - Mike Haysman is in for the pitch report. He says that the whole square is nice and dry and the deck is looking good too. Opines that the track will slow up and it will assist the spinners again.

Roddy Estwick, the assistant coach of West Indies, says that both teams have bowled well. Feels that they both are looking at their best team combinations and they are looking to improve in the middle overs. Opines that it has got to be a team effort and the younger players need to make a contribution as well. Says that they have tried to give everybody an opportunity and they will look to tick all the boxes.

The South African coach, Mark Boucher is up for a chat. Says that it's been a close one, looking at the World Cup ahead the conditions are going to be very similar. Adds that they have enjoyed the series throughout. Also says a pattern that has formed and the middle and lower order have been off the strap. Ends by saying that they still haven't had a perfect game, hope that they see one today.

Kieron Pollard, the West Indian skipper, says that they will play the situation and they struggled with spin but feels that the guys have the mental fortitude to deal with it. States that they have one change as Hosein comes in and replaces Allen.

The South African skipper, Temba Bavuma says that they will bat first. The wicket looks on the dry side, so they will look to bat on this dry pitch. Also adds, it a privilege to captain this side. The players are looking up to the game and they will give it their all to end the series on a high note. States that they have two changes to their team as Mulder and Fortuin make their way in the team, replacing Hendricks and Nortje.

West Indies (PLAYING XI) -  Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis, Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran (WK), Kieron Pollard (C), Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Akeal Hosein (IN PLACE OF Fabian Allen), Obed McCoy, Fidel Edwards.

South Africa (PLAYING XI) -  Quinton de Kock (WK), Aiden Markram, Temba Bavuma (C), Rassie van der Dussen, David Miller, Wiaan Mulder (IN PLACE OF Beuran Hendricks), George Linde, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Bjorn Fortuin (IN PLACE OF Anrich Nortje), Lungi Ngidi.

TOSS - The coin goes up and it lands in the favour of South Africa. They opt to bat first.

Well, it is series decider time! After 4 well-fought contests between West Indies and South Africa, the series is well poised at 2-2 and the winner of this clash will take home the trophy too. West Indies have the backing of the home crowd and also momentum with them, but the Proteas have shown time and time again, on this tour, that they are no pushovers. It will be one last blast to the finish line. On that note, a warm welcome to the 5th and final T20I between these two sides. Toss and team news up in a bit.
