Great sportsman spirit shown by Nurul Hasan! A very full ball outside off, angling away, Blessing tries to dig it out but misses and it goes behind off the outside edge. The finger has gone up but Nurul is quick to tell that he has not taken it cleanly.

OUT! Sound of timber! You will not see a better yorker than this! An inswinging one, right at the base of the middle stump, not much that Richard Ngarava can do. He still tries his best to get his bat down but it's all too late. The stumps are rattled and Zimbabwe's innings continue to slip.

OUT! A running stunner by the substitute fielder, Shamim Hossain. This one is a magnificent take, a ripper! Back of a length ball on middle, Burl decides that it's time to flex his muscles and powers it over wide mid on. Shamim Hossain reacts quickly from long on, runs across to his left and catches the ball safely. That's not all though. Not only he judged the catch to perfection but after falling and sliding near the fence, he does a commendable job to keep himself away from touching the fence. Shamim stays in that position and lifts his finger to show that it's a clean catch. The umpires though still take it upstairs and the soft signal is out. It stays out after the replays. Exceptional stuff!

OUT! Drags it on! Luke Jongwe tries to be too cheeky and pays a big price for it. Mohammad Saifuddin comes up with a sharp yorker-length ball wide outside off, Luke walks across the stumps for the paddle scoop but it takes the inner half of his blade and goes on to disturb the stumps. Had it missed the stumps, it would have been a boundary. Idea was good from Jongwe but not the execution.

FOUR! Poor delivery to start the over and it gets the deserved treatment. Short in length and wide outside off, Jongwe reaches out for it with an open-faced bat and slaps it past backward point for a boundary.

Angling away from the batsman, outside off, Jongwe places it to the right of short third man and collects a single. Good over, only 6 from it.

Dropped? Seems like it didn't carry to the keeper. On a good length and outside off, Jongwe pushes tamely inside the line and gets a soft edge behind. The ball was angling across and Dion Myers looked to heave it over mid-wicket by clearing his front leg, chose a difficult shot to play and paid the price. The off stump is uprooted. Bangladesh and Shoriful Islam are ecstatic as the dangerous Dion Myers is sent back to the pavilion.

The umpire has signalled for FOUR overthrows as well. RUN OUT! Regis Chakabva tries to shuffle across and scoop the short ball around off over the keeper's head but gets it away off the gloves. Nurul Hasan just can't reach it in time to put in a dive for the catch but sees the batsmen trying to sneak a run. The keeper rushes forward, removes his gloves, picks up the ball and has a shy at the bowler's end. Shoriful there tried to stop the ball by raising his left hand up but luckily for Bangladesh, he fails to do that. It's a direct hit at the bowler's end, they appeal, it's referred upstairs and the replays find Regis Chakabva short. That's a hammer blow to Zimbabwe!

OUT! An excellent return catch by Shakib Al Hasan. Mahmudullah, the captain of Bangladesh, says that they would have bowled first anyway as the pitch won't change much and they have a good batting depth. Adds that they have played some great cricket and they want to follow that in this series as well. Shares that they have a good bowling set-up and he is happy with the balance as there are a few all-rounders.

Sikandar Raza, the skipper of Zimbabwe, says that they are batting first as the surface looks good and once they have the runs on the board, it's not easy to chase. Feels that they have a young squad and they want to give them no scoreboard pressure. Adds that this is the format the youngsters enjoy the most and he is looking forward to a good game.

Pitch report - Big boundaries on one side and something for the captains to consider. The pitch looks like an absolute belter. There is a tinge of green on the surface but the sun is out, baking the surface and it will be great for batting. 156 is the average score here in the first innings but if you bat well, 180-190 is on.

Key information! Sikandar Raza will be leading Zimbabwe as Brendan Taylor is rested. The hosts are already without Sean Williams and Craig Ervine, so their squad has been depleted further. For Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim had pulled out of the white-ball tour earlier and now Tamim Iqbal is out with a knee injury. Bangladesh would be without two key members of their batting unit but still hold the upper hand due to the quality they possess in their squad.
