টাকার অঙ্ক তিন কোটি! অঙ্কিতাকে আইনি নোটিশ পাঠালেন দেবালয়

পরিচালক দেবালয় ভট্টাচার্য এবার আইনি নোটিশ পাঠালেন অভিনেত্রী অঙ্কিতা চক্রবর্তীকে। অভিনেত্রী অঙ্কিতা চক্রবর্তীর শ্লীলতাহানি করেছেন পরিচালক দেবালয় ভট্টাচার্য, এই অভিযোগের ঘটনা নিয়ে এতদিন উত্তাল ছিল সোশ্যাল মিডিয়া। তারপর পরিচালক দেবালয়ের বিরুদ্ধে বিস্ফোরক সব অভিযোগ এনে আইনি পথে হাঁটেন টলিউডের জনপ্রিয় অভিনেত্রী অঙ্কিতা চক্রবর্তী। সোমবার সাংবাদিক বৈঠকেই অঙ্কিতা স্পষ্ট করেন, দেবালয় তাঁর সঙ্গে কী করেছিলেন। পরিচালকের বিরুদ্ধে শ্লীলতাহানির অভিযোগ এনে, আইনি নোটিস পাঠান অঙ্কিতা। আইনি নোটিস অনুযায়ী, দেবালয়কে ৭ দিন সময় দেওয়া হয়েছিল। সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় পরিচালককে ঘটনার কথা স্বীকার করে ক্ষমা চাইতে বলা হয়েছিল। পরিচালক যদি এটি না করেন, তা হলে এফআইআর করা হবে বলে জানিয়েছিলেন অঙ্কিতা।

My Client: Mr. DEBALAY BHATTACHARYA son of Late Swapan Kumar Bhattacharya

Subject: Legal Notice for Defamation, False Statements, and Claim for Damages

Madam,

Under instructions from and on behalf of my client, my client named above, I do hereby address you as follows:

1. That my client is an eminent filmmaker, screenwriter and songwriter, working primarily in Bengali film industry for over 20 years. He has been working in the industry with repute, distinction, respect and his works have a global reach. He is a distinguished personality and recipient of numerous accolades and has high regards in the society.

2. That you are an actress, working in Bengali film industry for years and have also worked with my client in different web series directed by him. My client always had a cordial relation with you and has always treated with you due respect and dignity. In fact, you have also shared a good rapport with the family of my client and there were never any malice or complaints from either end.

3. That on 11.05.2026 my client posted from his personal Facebook page and such post had no mention of you or even any remote connection with you. But you, totally out context, came out with a dirty and malicious comment on such post, wildly alleging sexual misconduct on the part of my client and even mentioned a young girl’s name in such comment and you further went to the extent of calling my client a paedophile. The comment was not only irrelevant and ridiculous in the context of the post but was wholly untrue, malevolent and made with the sole intent of defaming my client. My client has the digital record of such comment made by you on his Facebook post.

4. That from the next morning you started giving bytes to different media houses, you tube channels and social media pages making false imputations involving my client, with the intent of maligning and harassing him. I on specific instructions from my client hereby deny all such false imputations and put you to the strict proof thereof. You further went on to call a press conference and made slanderous comments about my client in front of the press/media.

5. That such words, spoken as well as written and published by you, were done with the intent to deliberately tarnish the image, dignity and social standing of my client and lower his moral and intellectual character in the estimation of others. By such conduct, expressed and implied, you have intentionally defamed my client, knowing such allegations to be absolutely false and baseless.

6. That due to such false imputations made by you my client has suffered immense humiliation, emotional distress and the same have caused irreparable injury to his personal relations, professional and social standing, for which you are legally liable.

Thus, as an Advocate and agent of my client and under his specific instructions I do hereby put you to notice to:

1. Immediately desist from making or circulating any further defamatory statements against my client;
2. Remove/delete all defamatory content published by you within 3 days from receipt of this notice and issue a written public apology to my client before the Press and your social media pages;
3. Pay damages/compensation amounting to Rs. 3, 00, 00, 000/- (Rupees Three Crores) towards the loss and injury caused to my client.

Kindly take further notice that in the event of your failure to comply with this notice within 3 (three) days from its receipt, my client will be constrained to initiate appropriate civil and/or criminal proceedings against you before the competent Courts of Law, holding you liable for all costs and consequences thereof.

I am retaining a copy of this notice and this notice is issued without prejudice to the other legal rights and remedies available to my client in law and in equity.

বৃহস্পতিবার সকালে TV9 বাংলাকে দেবালয় ভট্টাচার্য জানালেন, তিনি অঙ্কিতার পাঠানো আইনি নোটিশ পাননি। অঙ্কিতাকে একটা আইনি নোটিশ পাঠিয়েছেন দেবালয়। যেখানে দাবি করা হয়েছে, দেবালয়ের বিরুদ্ধে কোনও অসম্মানজনক মন্তব্য করা থেকে বিরত থাকতে। দেবালয়কে অসম্মান করার জন্য জনসমক্ষে ক্ষমা চাইতে। ৩ কোটি টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দিতে।

এটি আগের ঘটনা। অঙ্কিতার দাবি, একটি পার্টি চলছিল। সেই পার্টিতে হাজির ছিলেন পরিচালক দেবালয় ভট্টাচার্য। দেবালয়কে আগে থেকেই চিনতেন। তাই দেবালয় সম্পর্কে কোনও অস্বস্তিবোধ করেননি তিনি। কিন্তু হঠাৎ যে এমনটা ঘটবে, তা আগে থেকে আন্দাজ করতে পারেননি অঙ্কিতা। অঙ্কিতার দাবি,পার্টির মাঝে অঙ্কিতার হাত ধরে টেনে একটি ঘরে নিয়ে যান দেবালয়। অঙ্কিতার পিঠ ঠেকে যায় দেওয়ালে। তারপর দেবালয় চুমু খাওয়ার চেষ্টা করেন। তখনই বুঝতে পারেন, ঠিক কী ঘটাতে চলেছেন পরিচালক। দেবালয়কে ধাক্কা দিয়ে সরিয়ে ঘর থেকে বেরিয়ে যান বলে, দাবি ছিল অঙ্কিতার।

দেবালয় অভিযোগ শুনে বলেন, ”এরকম কোনও ঘটনা ঘটেনি। অঙ্কিতার কথা আমার বিশ্বাসযোগ্য লাগছে না, পুরোটাই মনে হচ্ছে, সাজিয়ে জোর করে গল্প বলা। জানিনা, উনি কী করে খবর পেলেন যে, আমি কাউকে টেক্সট পাঠিয়েছি যে আমার ব্যাকআপ আছে। সেটার কি প্রমাণ দিতে পারবেন? বা উনি যে কথাগুলো বলছেন, সেগুলোর কি প্রমাণ দিতে পারবেন? কারণ আমি আইনি পথে হাঁটছি। উনি যা বলেছেন, তার প্রমাণ চাইব। আর আজকে সাংবাদিক বৈঠক দিয়ে উনি যা শুরু করেছেন, শেষ সাংবাদিক বৈঠকটা আমি করব।” দেবালয় আরও দাবি করেন, ”বোঝা যাচ্ছে, পুরোটাই আমাকে অসম্মান করার জন্য। ও যদি জাস্টিস চাইত, তা হলে আমার কাছে আসতে পারত, আমাকে বলতে পারত বা আইনি পথে হাঁটতে পারত। ও কোনওটাই করেনি। বরং ফেসবুকে আমাকে নোংরাভাবে আক্রমণ করেছে। এটা ঠিক নয়।”
