Ben White is an Irish cricketer who is mainly known for his controlled right-arm leg break. He is a very talented player and was also named in the Ireland squad for the 2016 U-19 World Cup. White made his List A debut in 2021 for Ireland Wolves against the Bangladesh Emerging Team. He also made his T20I debut in the same year against South Africa and looking at his performances, he was selected to represent his country in the T20 World Cup that year. White was also the leading wicket-taker in the 2021 Inter-Provincial Trophy, with 17 dismissals in seven matches. He continued to impress in the national side and finally earned his Test cap in 2023 against Bangladesh where he picked up three wickets. He also played his first ODI in the same year against Oman in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. White played a key role in helping Ireland qualify for the 2024 T20 World Cup with 9 wickets in five matches in the Europe qualifiers. As a result, he was named in the World Cup squad as well.
