Her brilliance came to global prominence at the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in South Africa, where she finished as the Proteas' leading wicket-taker with eight scalps at an average of 13.50. Two years later, at the 2025 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup in Malaysia, she was appointed captain of South Africa. Reyneke led with supreme authority, topping the bowling charts for her country once again with 11 wickets at an astonishing average of 6.30 while also guiding the team deep into the competition.

Her transition to senior international cricket in early 2026 unfolded like a storybook script. She made her senior T20I debut on February 10, 2026, against Pakistan, returning figures of 2 for 13 before hitting the final ball of the match for six in an unbeaten 29 off 16 balls to seal victory and earn Player of the Match honors.
