A former rugby union player, he transitioned to cricket, finding success with the Northern Knights in domestic cricket. His brother, Mark Adair, shares his passion for cricket and has represented Ireland across all formats. Known for his aggressive right-handed batting style, top of the order, Ross Adair's penchant for clearing the ropes is evident, with one of his proudest moments being sharing the field with his brother, Mark, and achieving his maiden T20I half-century. His explosive power and a remarkable strike rate for the Knights make him a formidable force on the field. Ross Adair made his Twenty20 debut for the Northern Knights in the 2020 Inter-Provincial Trophy, showcasing his prowess from the outset.
