Roach feels 200 will be enough - Windies pacer Kemar Roach says the message in the West Indies dressing room is to put up a fight, and the guys are very adamant about doing that. He notes Pakistan have a knack of having a pretty poor second innings, so runs on the board always create pressure. Roach adds that the approach will be to stay positive, look to score, and get to the 200-run mark because that gives them a fighting chance. He adds it is about having a good fight, staying positive, and seeing where it goes. On batting with Justin Greaves, Roach says they usually bat well together and are good mates with a strong relationship. Great communication and good feedback between them will help them achieve what they need today. On how the fast bowlers support Jomel Warrican, he says it is about creating pressure and letting Warrican attack from one end because he is probably going to get the most out of the pitch. The fast bowlers need to attack smartly, try to pick up wickets as well, help Warrican out, contain the Pakistan batters as much as possible, keep building pressure, and see how strong Pakistan are in chasing the runs.

PITCH REPORT ON DAY 4 - Samuel Badree is pitchside and he says blue skies greet Queen’s Park Oval on day four of the second Test. He points to the natural wear and tear that comes this deep into a Test, with lots of footmarks, divots and indentations. One dismissal in particular stands out to Badree, Shai Hope’s, where the ball spins and keeps very low off the surface from the Pavilion End, where Sajid operates the most. He suspects that delivery is on the mind of every batter coming out. Badree adds that runs this morning matter more than on any other morning because they add weight to a fourth-innings chase.

Sarfaraz backs spinners, targets early wickets on Day 4 - Pakistan's Head Coach, Sarfaraz Ahmed, says Pakistan’s plan for Day 4 is very simple, bowl within the stumps. He gives credit to both spinners for bowling really well, sticking to their plan and keeping it tight. On the chase, he says Pakistan are in a very, very good position at the moment and hopefully they get West Indies out as early as possible. He adds the pitch is behaving well and is supporting the spinners, so whatever target they get, they will chase it. Speaking on Abdullah Shafique’s unbeaten 160, Sarfaraz calls it a brilliant knock and points to Shafique’s form in the last domestic season, where he is the highest run-scorer. He explains that when Abdullah Fazal got injured, the selection committee discussed the best available player and, because Shafique scores so well domestically, they brought him in. He says Shafique showed exactly that with the way he plays, and hopefully, his innings will help Pakistan. Asked if Abdullah meets the tactical adjustments the team wants, Sarfaraz replies yes, definitely.

Jomel credits consistency - Windies spinner Jomel Warrican says it feels great to help the team do well, and that a lot of hard work goes into it as he puts in the miles today. He calls consistency and understanding his role his strength, and informs that he knew he had to bowl a long spell, so he mentally prepared for that and used his skills like angles and variations well. On dismissing Mohammad Rizwan, he explains most keepers try to hang back, so he has to be spot on and decides to slide one in at that moment. He adds the wicket gives him a lot of information, and after seeing yesterday that batters had a lot of time, he goes back to watch videos and the pitch map and finds the good length is around the 4-meter area. What pleases him most from Day 3 is increasing his speed, something he doesn’t usually do as a spinner. Standing tall on a brilliant 132, he found steady support from Sajid Khan to guide Pakistan to Lunch at 333/6. The West Indies clearly owned the session thanks to that fiery spell, but with Pakistan trailing by just 11 runs, this game is balanced on a knife-edge. Don't go anywhere, the afternoon session promises even more fireworks!

The Caribbean onslaught - Smelling blood, the West Indies attack pounced immediately. Jomel Warrican cleverly outsmarted Awais Zafar for just 1, and in the very next over, Shamar Joseph streamed in to trap Salman Ali Agha plumb in front for a first-ball duck. In a chaotic three-over spell, Pakistan slumped from 281/2 to 286/5. Warrican later removed Mohammad Rizwan for 18, capping off a classic bowling performance that dragged the West Indies right back into the contest.

A flash of brilliance - What looked like a routine morning for Pakistan quickly turned into high drama! Babar Azam and Abdullah Shafique were cruising along, but one risky single changed the entire script. A sensational direct hit from Brandon King caught Babar just short on 88, ending a massive stand and sparking wild celebrations, though King sadly went off injured in the effort. Just like that, the West Indies found the spark they desperately needed, and the match exploded to life.
