Bilaspur is constituency number forty-eight of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. It is one of the four Assembly seats of Himachal's Bilaspur district apart from Jhanduta, Ghumarwin and Sri Naina Deviji. It is one of the seventeen Assembly seats that make up the Hamirpur Lok Sabha constituency. The Bilaspur Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
