Time for another Drinks break! Easy to say, this phase of 21-30 overs has been dominated by Bangladesh as they have added 44 runs in this phase without any loss of a wicket. Mahmudullah joined forces with his skipper Mehidy Hasan and the two have weathered the early storm by constructing a 66-run stand for the 5th wicket. The boundaries, however, haven't come regularly but these two have milked singles and doubles to keep the scorecard ticking along. With spin in tandem, Afghanistan did manage to prevent runs from flowing freely but they also know, to dominate in cricket, you need to pick wickets at regular intervals. PITCH REPORT - Ramiz Raja is pitchside. He says that it is a brand new pitch, but its nature looks the same and it is quite dry as well. There's not much sheen on it and has some assistance for the bowling side. Adds that hitting the right lengths with variations might help the bowlers. Reckons anything above 230 would be a good total. Also states that building partnerships would be key while chasing the total.

The captain of Afghanistan, Hashmatullah Shahidi says that the pitch is new and dry and the ball will spin from the first ball. Reckons that chasing the target will be tough. They will try to do well today. Adds that in the last game, the pitch was difficult but they will have to adapt to the conditions better. Concludes that they are going with the same team.
