Commentary
We are back for the second chapter to unfold. The umpires are on their way toward the pitch, and the fielders of Ireland have scattered to take their respective positions. Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan will open for Bangladesh. Matthew Humphreys will start with the new ball. Let's play...
... THE RUN CHASE ...
Right then, 171 is what Bangladesh need to win and level the series. The pitch does look excellent for batting, even though a few of the deliveries seem to be holding in the pitch and we should see even more dew in the second half of the game. Can the Irish bowlers do the job upfront just like they did in the first T20I? Or will the hosts manage to get over the line? Only time will tell. The run chase is up next, stay tuned.
Mahedi Hasan is up for a chat. He says that he focused on keeping the basics right, maintaining tight lines and lengths after the powerplay, which contributed to his success today. He ended up saying that he is confident that his team's batting ability to chase down the target.
Bangladesh made multiple changes on the back of that defeat in the first game but the change in personnel didn't bear any fruit, at least not early on. Mahedi Hasan and Nasum Ahmed conceded a total of 27 runs in the first 2 overs, setting the tone for the rest of the Powerplay and Mohammad Saifuddin's first over went for 16 as well. They were staring down the barrel of a 200-run plus total but did brilliantly in the middle overs to pull things back. Mahedi Hasan led the fightback and Tazim Hasan Sakib also bowled really well but Saifuddin and even Mustafizur Rahman were off colour.
Ireland were riding high on confidence from the first T20I win and it immediately showed when they came out to bat. Skipper Paul Stirling and the in-form Tim Tector went berserk inside the Powerplay and even though Stirling got out, Ireland scored 75 runs in the first 6 overs. They did slow down in the middle overs as they kept losing wickets but it was a decent finish at the death, thanks to Lorcan Tucker who hung around till the end and remained unbeaten on 41.
End of a high-octane and probably lengthy first half (thanks to the floodlight failure early on) of the game that saw the tide turn in both teams' favour. However, at the end of the first 20 overs, Ireland will still feel that the total of 170 on the board is a really good one, but will also feel that it could have easily been a lot more.

OUT! RUN OUT! Mustafizur Rahman dishes a bouncer, outside off. Gareth Delany attempts to pull but this time the ball beats the outside edge. Lorcan Tucker started sprinting toward the striker's end as soon as the ball was delivered. But Litton Das gloves the ball, runs toward the stumps and underarms it to the wicket directly. Commentary
Right then, that is it from this game. Bangladesh pulled their first win in this series to make it 1-1. Next, Bangladesh will take on Ireland on 2nd December, Tuesday, at 12 pm GMT in Chattogram. Don't forget to tune in early for all the pre-match build-up. Until then, stay safe and goodbye!
The skipper of Bangladesh, Litton Das, is the Player of the Match for his exceptional batting. He says that his finger is getting better as he got a blow in this match. Continues that everyone played their part and that is the reason behind this win. Also says that after the fall of the third wicket, things started to tumble away, but Mohammad Saifuddin finishes off neatly. Ends up saying that they will come back stronger in the upcoming match to get the series winner.
Paul Stirling, skipper of Ireland, says that it was a great game of cricket, and believed that everyone enjoyed it. He acknowledges that his team was just short in critical moments but sees this as an opportunity to improve. He's proud of the way his team fought and notes that this fighting spirit is the character they need to bring to every game, feeling they showed it tonight. He comments on the nature of the pitch in Chattogram, where it's easier to bat in the powerplay but gets harder as the game progresses, which was evident in both innings. He credits the opposing team's bowling in the last 4-5 overs, acknowledging they bowled brilliantly and took crucial wickets at important junctures, which were their best chances in the game.
Time for the Presentation Ceremony...
Earlier in the game, despite Ireland’s explosive start of 75/1 in the powerplay led by Paul Stirling and Tim Tector, Bangladesh staged a strong comeback to restrict the visitors to 170. Mahedi Hasan turned the tide with a brilliant spell of 3/25, dismissing the Tector brothers and Ben Calitz, while Tanzim Hasan Sakib kept things tight with 1/17. Later, Lorcan Tucker helped rebuild the innings and helped the visitors to get to 170.
Ireland's bowling was solid, but it was Matthew Humphreys' and Josh Little's expensive spell that proved costly. Mark Adair and George Dockrell took crucial wickets, but Ireland's inability to contain runs ultimately hurt them. Bangladesh's batters capitalized on the loose deliveries, and it showed in the end result.
Bangladesh got off to a flying start, with their openers adding 26 for the first wicket inside 3 overs, setting the tone for an aggressive chase. Litton Das and Parvez Hossain Emon kept the momentum going, putting on back-to-back half-century partnerships for the 2nd and 3rd wickets, keeping the asking rate in check. Though Bangladesh lost wickets in quick succession in the middle, Saif's brisk cameo at the end proved to be the masterstroke, guiding the hosts home.
Bangladesh have done it! They've broken their losing streak at home in T20Is and leveled the series 1-1, thanks to a brilliant half-century from their skipper, Litton Das and a strong finish from Mohammad Saifuddin. The hosts showed great resilience in chasing down the target, and it was a nail-biter until the end. Now, the series is wide open, with all to play for in the final game.
FOUR! That's it! Bangladesh have tied the series after winning this clash. Josh Little delivers fuller, just outside off. Mahedi Hasan, with no such footwork, clubs it up and over the cover region, toward the sweeper cover fence for a boundary. Bangladesh beat Ireland by 4 wickets.

Can Bangladesh break their losing streak and level the series, or will Ireland continue their winning run and take an unassailable lead? The contest promises to be intense, with both teams looking to gain the upper hand. Get ready for a cracking game of T20 cricket. Toss and team updates in a bit.
Bangladesh will need to significantly improve in both bowling and batting performances if they are to level the series. Their top order was decimated in the first T20I, and Tawhid Hridoy was left with no support from the other end. Their batting order will be looking to provide some stability. Ireland, meanwhile, will be hoping to continue their strong bowling performance, with Matthew Humphreys and Mark Adair leading the charge with the ball and Harry Tector with the bat.
Ireland, on the other hand, is riding high on confidence after their convincing win in the first T20I. Led by Harry Tector's unbeaten 69, Ireland's batters showed they can take on Bangladesh's bowling, posting a competitive 181. Their bowlers, particularly Matthew Humphreys, who took a four-fer and Mark Adair, who picked up a couple, were equally impressive, restricting Bangladesh to 142. The side will be keen to seal the fate of the series with a game to spare by winning again.
Hello and welcome to the fans tuning in. The second T20I of the contest between Bangladesh and Ireland is set to be a cracker after what we witnessed in the first game. The home team, Bangladesh, is looking to bounce back from a thumping 39-run defeat in the series opener. The Litton Das-led side has been extremely strong at home, but a 0-3 loss to West Indies and the recent hammering by Ireland have raised concerns. They'll be looking to regroup and come out strong in this crucial encounter.
... MATCHDAY ...
The three-match T20I series between Bangladesh and Ireland has burst into life, with the visitors delivering a stunning performance in the opener to take an unexpected 1-0 lead. All eyes now turn to the second T20I at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram, where Bangladesh will fight to level the series and Ireland will seek to create history with a series-clinching win. Ireland's victory in the first T20I was comprehensive, marking their first T20I win in 14 months and only their third ever against the Bangla Tigers. The home side is under immense pressure after a top-order capitulation. They have already secured the Test series, but a T20I series loss at home would be a significant blow, especially after their past success in this format against Ireland. Ireland enter the second T20I with massive confidence. They showcased an all-round performance that was clinical and highly disciplined, proving their potential in the shorter format. A win here would secure their first-ever T20I series victory against Bangladesh. Bangladesh are expected to bounce back, but Ireland's balanced attack and in-form batters pose a serious threat. This match will be a huge test of the home side's mental fortitude under pressure. Who are you backing for the win?

Continues that everyone played their part and that is the reason behind this win.
