We are back for the chase. Out come Jake Fraser-McGurk and Josh Inglis. Alzarri Joseph has the new ball in hand. Here we go...

... RUN CHASE ...

Australia couldn't have asked for a better performance. They were just brilliant with the ball right from the word go. The seamers made the most of the swing available. Xavier Bartlett was the star again as he ended with four wickets. Lance Morris too bowled well but got injured midway after taking 2 wickets. Overall, it was just what you expect from an Aussie side and a whitewash is certain on the cards. Stay tuned for the chase shortly.

A disappointing display of batting from West Indies! The first two outings were bad but this was even worse. Not they would have hoped in the start. West Indies started well, lost just one wicket in the first 10 overs but then three in the next five. Suddenly, in the next 10 overs, they lost the other 5 wickets. There was everything, poor batting, poor shot selection and poor communication between the wickets as well.

Drinks! A solid start by the hosts as they put West Indies under tremendous pressure. West Indies lost just one wicket in first 10 overs but followed up losing three in the next five overs and all the good work has been undone. They need a big partnership and once again will look upon Roston Chase who has been in good form lately. Can he bail this team out from this position?

Australia (Playing XI) - Jake Fraser-McGurk, Josh Inglis (WK), Aaron Hardie, Steven Smith (C), Marnus Labuschagne, Cameron Green, Will Sutherland, Sean Abbott, Xavier Bartlett (In for Hazlewood), Adam Zampa, Lance Morris (In for Matthew Short).

Toss - Australia have won the toss and will BOWL.

It is time for the third and final ODI between Australia and West Indies. The hosts have already wrapped the series with two comfortable wins and will look to clean sweep it now. West Indies will be gutted as they failed to replicate their amazing performance in the Test series. They were dearly beaten in all three departments and now would love a consolation prize here. Expect a couple of changes for both teams. Maybe with not much in line, the Windies might play more fearlessly and give us some entertainment in this dead-rubber. Stay tuned for toss and other updates.

...Match Day...

West Indies continue their long tour Down Under as it is now time for the 3rd and final ODI between Australia and West Indies at the Manuka Oval in Canberra. After an impressive performance in the Test series, West Indies have lost both ODI matches so far and the series as well but have played good cricket in patches and have had the Aussies pushed against the wall on numerous occasions. The hosts though have been able to power their way through difficult situations with the bat mostly and have been able to clinch victory in both games so far. After putting Australia into bat, West Indies had them reeling a bit at 21/2 and 50/3 but they let the opposition build a few small stands before roaring back and having them down and out at 167/7. After this though, the Windies bowled pretty poorly and what should have been a chase of under 200, turned out to be one around 260. Alzarri Joseph was surprisingly off color and went for plenty of runs as Sean Abbott took them apart in the latter stages of the first innings. Gudakesh Motie and Matthew Forde were the standouts with the ball but they would have liked a bit more from the likes of Joseph and Oshane Thomas. Australia on the other hand were patchy in the field in the first ODI and were under the pump with the bat for a long time in the 2nd ODI. But in both games, they found a way and then we're clinical in the second half of the game. Sean Abbott put on a stellar all-around display first with the bat and then with the ball as well to help his side seal the series. Can West Indies put on a good performance for one whole game instead of bits and pieces and avoid a whitewash? We shall find out.
