All three teams have played a match each now. The hosts have won one and lost one while Scotland are yet to taste victory as they sit bottom right now. Netherlands have shown their capabilities till now but are yet to put on a complete team performance. The last match was the best example where in a crunch situation, the pressure got the better of them. On the other hand, Scotland have a lot of work to do. The Netherlands T20I Tri-Series, 2024, is in full swing and we are awaiting match number 4 where the Netherlands goes up against Scotland. The hosts sit at number 2 on the table with a win and a loss. They faced a loss against the Irish in their recent encounter. Their bowlers missed a trick by not taking wickets at crucial times even after a good start to their innings. Tim Pringle was the pick of the bowlers with his three wickets while Daniel Doram and Paul van Meekeren got away with two each. However, they allowed some strong partnerships to go unbroken which is something they will want to work on in the coming games. Some of their batters too looked out of form while some fought hard to get their team over the winning line. Max O'Dowd, Bas de Leede, and Tim Pringle were the ones to breach the 30-run mark and keep their hopes alive while the rest of them struggled. They fell short by just a run but would have had a lot to take away from that game. Scotland, on the other hand, is at the bottom among the three teams. They lost their first game and their second one was abandoned without a ball being bowled. They have the chance to get things even between them and the hosts by winning this game. There will be a lot to discuss about their batting and bowling units coming into this game. If the weather permits, the viewers are in for some great action. Which team are you supporting?
