We have some news coming in from the South African camp - Temba Bavuma has been ruled of the third ODI after he experienced discomfort in his hamstring. In his place, Aiden Markram will lead the hosts in this game.

In the second ODI, South Africa could only bowl well in patches, and as a result, they were set a daunting total by West Indies. While chasing, they were off to a flying start but lost their way in the middle overs. Skipper Temba Bavuma stood strong with a solid century, but it was not enough to get his side over the line. After the first ODI was washed out, West Indies emerged victorious in the second ODI, and they hold a 1-0 lead heading into this game. The visitors will be hoping to seal the series with a win in this game, whereas South Africa will look to bounce back and draw level in the series.

It is time for the final match of the ODI series of the West Indies tour of South Africa. The visitors have a 1-0 lead in the series as they produced a surprisingly solid performance in the 2nd ODI. The first ODI was washed off due to rain and now the Proteas will have to win the final match to avoid the embarrassment of losing an ODI series at home. The hosts were the favorites coming into this series as they had beaten England a few months back. They failed to deliver a good performance in the second game. They will look to produce some support to their skipper, Temba Bavuma, as he was the standout batter and scored 144 runs, and was ably supported by Quinton de Kock who just fell a few runs shy from scoring his half-century. The rest of their batting line-up failed and they will be hoping for a better performance in this final game. On the other hand, West Indies had a near-perfect game in the 2nd ODI. They scored 335 and won the game by 48 runs. Their skipper, Shai Hope, was the stand-out batter as he scored 128 runs and was the man of the match.
