Ankleshwar is constituency number 154 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the five Assembly seats of Gujarat's Bharuch district apart from Jambusar, Vagra, Jhagadia and Bharuch. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Bharuch Lok Sabha constituency. The Ankleshwar Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
