Ghatlodia
Ghatlodia is constituency number forty-one of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the 21 Assembly seats of Gujarat's Ahmedabad district apart from Viramgam, Sanand, Vejalpur, Vatva, Ellisbridge, Naranpura, Nikol, Naroda, Thakkarbapa Nagar, Bapunagar, Amraiwadi, Dariapur, Jamalpur-Khadia, Maninagar, Danilimda, Sabarmati, Asarwa, Daskroi, Dholka and Dhandhuka. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency. The Ghatlodia Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs). In 2017, BJP's Bhupendrabhai Patel defeated Congress candidate Shashikant Patel by 1,17,750 votes. In 2022, Chief Minister Patel is facing Congress leader Dr Amee Yajnik and AAP's Vijay Patel.
