Gondal is constituency number seventy-three of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the eight Assembly seats of Gujarat's Rajkot district apart from Rajkot East, Rajkot West, Rajkot South, Rajkot Rural, Jasdan, Jetpur and Dhoraji. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Porbandar Lok Sabha constituency. The Gondal Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
