Kalol is constituency number 127 of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the five Assembly seats of Gujarat's Panchmahal district apart from Shahera, Morva Hadaf, Godhra and Halol. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Panchmahal Lok Sabha constituency. The Kalol Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
