Modasa is constituency number thirty-one of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the three Assembly seats of Gujarat's Aravalli district apart from Bhiloda and Bayad. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Sabarkantha Lok Sabha constituency. The Modasa Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
