Somnath is constituency number ninety of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly. It is one of the four Assembly seats of Gujarat's Gir Somnath district apart from Talala, Kodinar and Una. It is one of the seven Assembly seats that make up the Junagadh Lok Sabha constituency. The Somnath Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs) or Scheduled Tribes (STs).
