Ireland will head into this one as favourites. They too will be confident after their show against Pakistan. They did lose the series but they really played a good brand of cricket. They too have a lot of quality in their ranks and they'll be eager to do well in this tournament. We have seen these sides play out thrillers and we expect another one. It is time for the second game of the tri-series and this time it is the Irish who'll be going up against the home side, Netherlands. The hosts started their campaign off with a win against the Scottish and will be high on confidence heading into this one. They have some good players in their ranks and we expect this to be a very close encounter.

Match number 2 of the 2024 Netherlands T20I Tri-Series is upon us, featuring a face-off between the Netherlands and Ireland at the Voorburg Cricket Club in The Hague. The Netherlands have kicked off their campaign with a win over Scotland, and the Irish will be aiming to do the same. In their last T20I assignment, Ireland faced a narrow 2-1 series defeat against Pakistan, but not without putting up a commendable fight. After drawing first blood in the series, Paul Stirling and his men struggled to capitalise on key moments, leading to losses in the subsequent games. Andy Balbirnie and Lorcan Tucker showed glimpses of promise in different matches, although Ireland's batting overall left much to be desired. Michael Levitt and Vikramjit Singh stood out with the bat and will look to carry their form into the game against Ireland. Max O'Dowd and Scott Edwards struggled to come to terms with the surface during their innings and will look to make amends. With the ball, whether it was the pace unit or the spin bowling unit, the Dutch were clinical in both departments.
