Tevin Imlach and Justin Greaves are trying to make a sturdy partnership right now, and they will look forward to surviving another session to extend the lead. However, it is a tough task, but West Indies really need someone to step up to notch a big inning. On the other hand, the fielding of the Kiwis was on point. There was only a single fumble in the entire first session, where a sloppy fielding of Kane Williamson allowed the batters to get a couple of runs, but other than that, they were up to the mark. Further on that event, the centurion from the previous Test for the Windies, Shai Hope, walked off the field in the very same over. Skipper, Roston Chase, as well, failed to put much impact on the match. Kavem Hodge was looking good on the crease and just when things got settled, a stunning catch from Will Young made him walk back to the pavilion.

LUNCH ON DAY 3! Yet another Day where New Zealand are comfortably sitting on the driver's seat before the Lunch break. West Indies trailed by 41 runs before the start of the Moving Day, where they lost one top-order batter and one nightwatchman on Day 2. Today, Kavem Hodge and Brandon King started pretty decently. They got a couple of nicks on the edge, but other than that, there were no real terrors from the Kiwi bowlers. But things started to fall off after a brilliant piece of fielding by Michael Bracewell, which dismissed Brandon King.

On being asked about the LBW review surrounding Anderson Phillip, Jacob said that he was surprised the LBW of Anderson Phillip wasn't given at first, as it looked plumb, so they decided to go upstairs and got the wicket after DRS. Duffy mentioned Mitch Hay's quiet presence behind the stumps, which didn't give away much. He reckons getting a lead is good, praising his team's decent batting effort and acknowledging a lead of 80-90 is decent. He adds that he was fit going into the game but felt a bit flat with his bowling, though he's feeling better now and is focused on taking wickets for the team. He praises Michael Rae, saying he's awesome to watch and a great all-rounder, good with both ball and bat. The Windies' bowling has been a bit inconsistent, hasn't it? Tight lines, but also some wayward deliveries that gave the Kiwis' batters opportunities to hit boundaries. Kane Williamson certainly took advantage of that. Roach and Anderson Phillip have had some success with their nagging length, and it's likely the Windies will stick to that plan in the next session. The Kiwis will be looking to capitalize on the Windies' inconsistency and build on their strong position but if WI can hit the right areas, there is a lot in the deck for the bowlers. We will be back by 12.05 am GMT.

A dropped catch can be a costly affair, and Brandon King would be kicking himself for letting Conway off the hook. Conway's been looking solid, and he's well-positioned to take the Kiwis to a strong total. With 55 runs under his belt, he's got the momentum, and the rest of the batting order will be looking to add to the total as well. The Kiwis are definitely in the driver's seat, and it's going to be interesting to see how the Windies try to turn the game around.
