Commentary

Just the start of the weekend - We have reached the end of another high-scoring and high-octane clash but it's just the first one of the weekend, there are three more to go. To round off Saturday, the 11th of April, we head down south, to Chennai, where the Super Kings are looking for their first win of the season, up against Delhi Capitals, who are looking to bounce back after their first loss of the season as well. The Capitals have opted to BOWL first in that game, which is about to start in a few minutes. You can simply switch tabs and tune in to our coverage of that contest. Cheers!

POTM - Shreyas Iyer! The Punjab Kings skipper, Shreyas Iyer, is awarded the accolade for his game-clinching knock of 69 unbeaten off 33 balls. Iyer says that it was very pleasing to watch how the openers batted in the Powerplay and he decided to take his time as the foundation was laid. Mentions that it was Shashank Singh himself who asked to bowl, and during the Strategic Break, he conferred with the coach Ricky Ponting, who also went for it. Kudos to Shashank for showing that responsibility and executing his plans as well. Adds that you need to have the right mentality heading into these big run chases, which is not a problem with their openers and hopes that the others also continue in the same way. He further adds that the players are working hard and the two days off they had after the previous game also helped. Ends by saying that a lot of credit also goes to their coach Ricky Ponting and last year they were so close to lifting the trophy, and this year they want to get their hands on it.

... The post-match Presentation ceremony ...

Let's quickly recap the first innings - After being put into bat, the devastating duo of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head had a day out in the middle. They amassed an astonishing 105 runs in the Powerplay before things started to go downhill. Out of ideas, Shreyas Iyer threw the ball to part-timer Shashank Singh and his gentle medium pacers turned the game on its head. He sent back both set openers and the Kings capitalized.

The Kings' Assistant Coach shares his thoughts - Brad Haddin says that he is glad he is not a bowler in the first six overs. Adds that they remained pretty calm after the Powerplay and executed their plans well in the middle overs, pulling the game back. Mentions that there has been some phenomenal hitting this season, but he has not seen such destruction in the first six overs as he saw in this game. Shares that the key is to keep their mind clear and try to pick up wickets in the Powerplay, which they managed to do against KKR. Says that you need to be brave when batters are looking to take you on in the first six overs, and just try to gain the momentum back and try to control things from there. Ends by saying that they are getting the results, but haven't had a complete game yet but they will keep on improving as the league enters the middle phase.

Back-to-back defeats for the Orange Army - Another game that Sunrisers Hyderabad could have easily panned out differently, but they only have themselves to blame as they didn't play the big moments well, just like in their last game against LSG and they now have just one win from their opening four matches. 219 wasn't what they would have liked, especially given the start they had with the bat, but it was still a more than decent total on this pitch. However, their bowlers didn't take any pointers from the first innings and were put away with ease inside the Powerplay. Left-arm wrist-spinner Shivang Kumar then came in and gave them real hope as he picked up 3 wickets, but the pacers just couldn't get a grip on the game and they were blown away with ease.

Let's now hear from the Sunrisers' skipper- Ishan Kishan says that they could have batted well in the middle and gotten to something around 250. Adds that Punjab batted well in the Powerplay, but they (SRH) didn't execute their plans that well. Mentions that he thought 219 was a decent score on this wicket, and with 5-6 bowlers in your side, you back yourself but it just didn't go their way. Shares that you don't plan much in modern T20 cricket, they tried to use the longer boundary but it again comes down to execution and planning, which cost them a lot of runs and ultimately the game.

Riding high on confidence - Chasing 220 for the win, Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh started in familiar fashion, getting PBKS off to a flier, notching up 93 runs in the Powerplay. Similar to the first innings, things started to change after the Powerplay and the batters lost a bit of rhythm after the Strategic Break. The opening stand was broken when the score was 99, and then PBKS were 128/3 at one stage, with both openers having scored a fifty each. However, skipper Shreyas Iyer took the game by the scruff of the neck and powered his side to victory, remaining unbeaten on 69 off just 33 balls as Shashank Singh added the finishing touches.

The unbeaten run continues - Punjab Kings make it three wins out of three (completed matches) and remain the only other unbeaten team besides Rajasthan Royals in the 2026 season of the IPL. It was a clinical showing with the bat, and the Kings have now picked up 7 points in 4 matches to stay in touching distance with the top spot in the table. Punjab Kings become the first team to chase down a total of 200 or more 10 times in the IPL, beating their own record of 9 successful chases before this one. It was a clinical show with the bat as 3 out of their top 4 batters went on to score a half-century. Most 200-plus targets successfully chased in the IPL - 1. Punjab Kings - 10*, 2. Mumbai Indians - 6, 3. Rajasthan Royals - 5, 4. Royal Challengers Bengaluru - 4, 5. Sunrisers Hyderabad - 4.

SIX! Superb shot! Another slower bumper from Jaydev Unadkat, just outside off. Shashank Singh backs away and uses all his strength to flat-bat it, muscling it over the long off fence for a biggie. PBKS just a hit away from the win now.

17.51

Bangs this into the pitch, outside off, slower again. Shreyas Iyer waits for it and cuts it to deep point for one.

17.44

FOUR! Beautifully played! Much fuller and just outside off. Shreyas Iyer takes a good stride out, gets his hands through the shot to place it between long off and sweeper cover for a boundary.

17.31

Low full toss, on middle, Shashank Singh eases it down to long on for another run.

17.21

Short of a length and around off, takes pace off, Shreyas Iyer controls his pull towards deep mid-wicket for a run.

17.11

Good length and on off, Shashank Singh pats it back to the bowler. Jaydev Unadkat fails to stop it on the follow-through and allows a single.

16.51

Dragged back, on off, Shreyas Iyer punches it to sweeper cover for one.

16.41

Excellent effort! Slows it up, full and on off, turns away. Shashank Singh goes for the inside-out shot again but mistimes it high in the air. Shivang Kumar from cover-point runs a long way to his right, puts in a full-length dive but just fails to reach the ball. They cross and the 200 also comes up for PBKS.

16.31

Flighted, full and on middle, Shreyas Iyer drives it to long off for a run.

16.21

Tossed up, full and around off, Shashank Singh goes inside out and lifts it over extra covers for a single.

Too little too late for SRH? Maybe, yes, but in cricket you never know. With that said, Shashank Singh walks out to bat at number 6.

16.1W

OUT! TIMBER! Harsh Dubey gets a wicket but it looks like it's too little too late for SRH. Harsh Dubey fires in a yorker, on off. Nehal Wadhera steps across and tries to get under it to launch it down the ground but fails to do so. The ball dips late and sneaks under the bat to rattle into the off pole.

15.50

Clever! A good slower bumper, on middle, Shreyas Iyer waits for it and tries the upper cut but misses due to the lack of pace.

15.46

SIX! FIFTY FOR IYER! Back-to-back half-centuries for Iyer, and he is leading from the front here. This is a fuller delivery and on middle. Shreyas Iyer steps across to get inside the line of it and smokes it over the wide long on fence for a biggie.

Commentary

We are back for the chase! The Sunrisers Hyderabad players are making their way out to the middle and spreading out to take their respective field positions. SRH also bring in Jaydev Unadkat as their Impact Sub, replacing Travis Head. Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh are the two explosive openers for Punjab Kings. Some left-arm spin to start as Harsh Dubey has the new ball in hand. Here we go...

... THE RUN CHASE ...

From early carnage to late control - Punjab Kings’ bowlers were taken apart in the first eight overs, but the move to bring in Shashank Singh worked wonders as he removed the dangerous Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma in the same over. They followed it up with a couple of quiet overs, with Jansen taking a blinder to dismiss Kishan. Arshdeep was expensive but still managed to pick up a couple of wickets, breaking his duck this season, while Bartlett executed superbly at the death, conceding just 5 runs in the final over and picking up a wicket to finish strongly. However, it’s still a big total on the board, and Punjab’s batters will need a strong effort to chase this down. Join us in a bit for the second essay.

A quick chat - Shashank Singh (3-0-20-2), PBKS' golden arm with the ball, is down for a chat with the broadcasters. He says that whenever he bowls in the nets, he plans for such an occasion, and to get someone like Abhishek Sharma twice means a big deal to him. Adds that Dale Sten knows him well and worked with him at SRH and Singh also says that he loves his bowling and hopes to contribute to the team. Reckons that the pitch is slightly on the slower side, which they already knew from the practice session, but feel like with their batting attack, they can chase it down.

Bright beginning, underwhelming end - Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to an explosive start through the destructive pair of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, smashing it all around the park to rack up 105 runs in the Powerplay. The duo added 120 for the opening stand, with Abhishek bringing up a blazing 18-ball fifty, but unfortunately, both fell in the same over, which shifted the momentum. Heinrich Klaasen looked scratchy throughout the innings, something you don’t often see, while Kishan and Aniket chipped in with cameos. Interestingly, Reddy was pushed down to number 6 despite doing well in previous games, and SRH couldn’t quite finish with the flourish they would have hoped for.

Strong total but a missed opportunity - It was an innings of two halves for Sunrisers Hyderabad, who still managed to put up a big total on the board but will feel they left a few runs out there considering the blazing start they got. Punjab Kings, though, will be pleased with the way they pulled things back in the second half, especially at the death, conceding just 22 runs in the final three overs to regain control.

Another cheeky shot but for just one run. Take a bow, Xavier Bartlett. Just 5 runs and a wicket off the final over as Sunrisers Hyderabad finish with 219/6 on the board. Full ball on leg stump from Bartlett, Dubey gets inside the line and laps it towards fine leg for a single.

19.50

This is sensational death bowling from Bartlett. Another yorker, angled just across off, Harsh Dubey sits down and looks to sweep the pacer but gets beaten.

Who comes out for the last couple of balls? It will be Harsh Dubey.

19.4W

OUT! CAUGHT! Looked like a good shot but Heinrich Klaasen holes out in the deep and lobs his bat up in the air in frustration. Xavier Bartlett nails the yorker on leg stump. Klaasen stays put and clears the front leg, flicking it high towards deep mid-wicket. Cooper Connolly sets himself just inside the boundary ropes and takes a solid catch as SRH continue to misfire at the death.

19.30

Oh, did Klaasen get any bat on it? There is a loud appeal for a caught behind but the umpire shakes his head. The keeper, Prabhsimran Singh feels the ball came right off the bat and Shreyas Iyer does review it. Coming to the shot, it is a cheeky one as Heinrich Klaasen tries to just stay put and reverse scoop a full ball outside the line of off stump. The third umpire checks UltraEdge and finds that there is no bat involved but then checks for LBW as well. The impact is clearly outside off. It stays NOT OUT and PBKS lose both their reviews in a hurry.

19.22

Gets the yorker right again, on middle, tailing in a bit. Heinrich Klaasen digs it out through mid-wicket for a couple of more runs.

19.12

A good yorker, on middle, Heinrich Klaasen jams it out towards deep mid-wicket and hurries back for the second run.

NOT OUT! Full and around leg stump, Nitish Kumar Reddy goes down and tries to sweep it away but misses. The ball hits the boot and rolls towards short fine leg for a dot ball. There is a huge appeal for LBW but the umpire is unmoved. PBKS do send it upstairs to have a look. Nothing on UltraEdge but Ball Tracking shows that the ball pitched outside the line of leg stump and the on-field decision stands.

Is that out? It looks close, and Shreyas Iyer has taken the review for an LBW decision, not given on field. Well, Ball Tracking shows it is pitching outside leg stump. Not Out it is!

Nitish Kumar Reddy joins Heinrich Klaasen out in the middle.

18.5W

OUT! CAUGHT! Arshdeep Singh gets his second wicket. Singh goes full and straight but takes some pace off the delivery. Salil Arora stays deep in the crease, makes room and looks to heave it straight back. However, he only gets the height, not the distance. The fielders from long off and long on converge and it is Xavier Bartlett from the latter position who takes the skier without a fuss.

18.41

Another change in angle from Arshdeep, this is a slower one, bowled on a hard length and around off. Klaasen looks to cut but nearly gets chopped on as the ball goes past the leg stump for a single.

18.31

Arshdeep is back around the wicket, goes full and straight now, Arora clips it away past square leg for a single.

18.20

Singh switches to over the wicket, goes full and lands it just outside off. Arora swings hard but misses and there's a hint of reverse on offer as well.

18.16

SIX! Right in the wheelhouse and Salil Arora puts it away. Slower bumper from around the wicket, angled into the arc. Arora waits well and pulls it over deep square leg for another biggie.

Back to over the wicket, dug in short and over middle, slower too. Heinrich Klaasen shuffles a bit to the off side and tries to scoop it over the keeper but fails to do so.

17.41

Jansen goes around the wicket, bowling it full and wide, Arora lofts it down to deep cover for a single. 200 UP FOR SRH!

17.30

Another golden dot ball, top delivery from Jansen. Wide yorker, nailed to perfection. Arora backs away to slice it away but fails to do so. Half a shout from the keeper as well for a caught behind, but the umpire dismisses it.

17.20

A slower yorker, bowled wide outside off, Salil Arora jams it out to backward point. Dot ball!

SIX! Finishes the over in style! Eshan Malinga serves this right in the slot, on middle. Shreyas Iyer uses his wrists this time, stays put and whips it powerfully over the deep mid-wicket fence for half a dozen more. Another 18-run over, 23 needed off 24 balls now.

15.50

15.34

FOUR! Connects this time! Eshan Malinga just misses the yorker and bowls a full toss, outside off. Shreyas Iyer backs away and gets down on one knee. He extends his arms and thrashes it over extra covers for a boundary.

15.31wd

WIDE! Gets away with it! This is a full toss angling down the leg side. Shreyas Iyer fails to put it away. Only a wide but could have been worse.

15.21

Low full toss, on middle, Nehal Wadhera covers the stumps and chips it to deep mid-wicket for a single.

15.10

A precious dot! Eshan Malinga gets the wide yorker right, just outside off. Nehal Wadhera backs away but fails to make contact with the ball.

Strategic Break! With that massive 18-run over, Punjab Kings will feel they are ahead in the chase now. Shreyas Iyer is batting like a dream, and this time he will want to stay there and finish the job himself. It looks like a mountain to climb for Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the only way for them is to pick up 2-3 wickets very quickly. Also, Eshan Malinga (2-0-28-0) is back on.

MISFIELD AND FOUR! Length ball around off, Iyer takes a step across to the off side and hammers it flat and over the bowler's head. Heinrich Klaasen sprints to his right from long off and slides in but gets it on the half-volley and fails to get his body behind the ball, resulting in a boundary

OUT! TAKEN! Shivang Kumar gets a big breakthrough for his team. Once again, we see a wicket fall right after the strategic break. This is a googly, full and on middle, turns in a bit. Priyansh Arya clears his front leg to slog it away again. However, due to the inward spin, the ball takes the inside half of the bat. It flies straight towards deep mid-wicket, where Nitish Kumar Reddy takes a fine catch. End of a fine knock from Arya, and PBKS are 99/1, chasing a target of 220.

6.16

SIX! Field restrictions lifted? Does not matter for Priyansh Arya. Shivang Kumar drags his length back and around middle. Arya rocks back and heaves it away. He does not connect it from the middle but gets enough power to clear deep mid-wicket for a biggie.

STRATEGIC BREAK! After the first 6 overs, SRH were 105/0 and PBKS have almost matched it at 93/0, with both Powerplay totals being absolutely unbelievable. The importance of the first 6 overs on a pitch that slows down considerably is so high and now it will be interesting to see how the PBKS openers operate when the fielding restrictions are over and the ball is getting slightly old.

OUT!

OUT! ANIKET VERMA IS RUN OUT! Chahal goes full and drifts it into the pads. Aniket Verma goes on one knee to sweep but miscues the shot. The ball ends up going in front of square leg. The batters run the first one hard and set off for the second but Verma hesitates a touch and says no, but Klaasen commits. That slight hesitation is enough to cause the downfall as Marcus Stoinis picks up the ball and throws it to the keeper, Prabhsimran Singh and the bails are dislodged with Verma nowhere in the picture.

15.11

A very low full toss, on the pads, swiped away to deep mid-wicket for just a single.

STRATEGIC BREAK! 120 runs in the first 8 overs and just 56 in the next 7 for SRH. The wicket is showing signs of slowing down and with the big boundaries in play, it isn't easy for the new batter to pick up easy boundaries. PBKS have done really well and will be hoping to keep the opposition down to a score of around 225 or below. With Heinrich Klaasen out there, SRH will hope that the final 5 overs turn out to be big. Let's see how the first innings eventually pans out.

OUT! TAKEN! That is an absolute stunner from Marco Jansen, and Arshdeep gets his first wicket of the season. He serves this fuller, angling into the pads. Ishan Kishan brings his wrists into play and whips it away over mid-wicket. He and everyone present at the ground think it is six for all money. However, Jansen has other ideas. He runs to his right and just sticks out his right hand to pouch it nonchalantly. Made it look easy. Marcus Stoinis, who was at long on, breaks into a laugh, Marco Jansen wears that 'did that really stick?' smile. Arshdeep Singh sinks to his haunches in disbelief, while Ishan Kishan heads back, still trying to piece it all together. SRH are 169/3 now.

We are all set for the weekend frenzy to kick off. The sun is shining brightly, and out walk the two on-field umpires, followed by the players of Punjab Kings. Last to take the field are the dynamic openers of Sunrisers Hyderabad - Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, aka Travishek. Arshdeep Singh has the new ball in hand and is raring to go. Let's play...

The skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad - Ishan Kishan says that they would have looked to bowl first as well, but the wicket looks hard, and it is all about doing well with the bat. Adds that Pat Cummins is a huge miss for any side, but they still have a good side. Informs that they have made a couple of changes with Salil Arora coming in for Liam Livingstone and Praful Hinge is set to make his debut.

The captain of Punjab Kings - Shreyas Iyer says that it is a day game, but they have chased well, so they decided to go with it. Feels like they just need to back the youngsters in the team and let them express themselves. Informs that they are going with the same team overall but Priyansh Arya comes in for Nehal Wadhera.

Impact Sub options for PBKS - Nehal Wadhera, Vishnu Vinod, Suryansh Shedge, Yash Thakur, and Harpreet Brar.

Punjab Kings (Playing XI) - Prabhsimran Singh (WK), Priyansh Arya (In for Nehal Wadhera), Cooper Connolly, Shreyas Iyer (C), Shashank Singh, Marcus Stoinis, Marco Jansen, Xavier Bartlett, Vijaykumar Vyshak, Arshdeep Singh, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (Playing XI) - Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan (C/WK), Heinrich Klaasen, Salil Arora (In for Liam Livingstone), Aniket Verma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Harsh Dubey, Shivang Kumar, Harshal Patel, and Eshan Malinga (In for Jaydev Unadkat).

TOSS - It's toss time in Mullanpur and the two captains are out in the middle. The home captain, Shreyas Iyer, gives it a flick, while Ishan Kishan calls. Kishan does so incorrectly and Punjab Kings will BOWL first.

PITCH REPORT - Former Indian Women's cricketer, Anjum Chopra, is pitchside and she has former Proteas pacer, Dale Steyn, for company. Dale mentions that from a team perspective, SRH have so many batters that are destructive but it is a day game, so the pitch will play a bit differently. The duo feels that the bowlers will probably smile a bit more than the batters, and a score of 160-170 could be a good one. Dale further mentions that the pitch will slow down but in the chase, when the lights play a bit of a role, it will again get better for batting. Anjum ends by saying that someone like Yuzvendra Chahal will love to bowl on this track.

Dominance vs current form - SRH have dominated this rivalry over the years and also hold a 4-1 edge in the last five meetings, but PBKS carry the momentum this season. The average winning score here is around 200, with results evenly split between teams batting first and second, making the toss less decisive. With both sides thriving in the Powerplay and boasting explosive finishers, expect a contest decided by key moments. Stay tuned for toss and other updates.

SRH built on aggression - Sunrisers Hyderabad's strength lies in their aggressive batting. Since IPL 2024, they have scored the most runs in the Powerplay, underlining their attacking approach through Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. Heinrich Klaasen remains the backbone with three 50-plus scores in his last five innings and one of the best strike rates in IPL history. He has also dominated both the middle and death overs in recent seasons, making him the key man once again. Nitish Kumar Reddy adds all-round value, while Aniket Verma provides finishing power. Their bowling has shown flashes through Jaydev Unadkat and Harsh Dubey, but needs more consistency.

Punjab's Powerplay and death-overs punch - Punjab Kings have dominated key phases this season. Prabhsimran Singh has provided quick starts, while Priyansh Arya and Shreyas Iyer have built on it. Since IPL 2025, PBKS have scored the second-most runs in the Powerplay at one of the best strike rates. With the ball, Arshdeep Singh, Marco Jansen, and Xavier Bartlett offer variety, while Yuzvendra Chahal controls the middle overs. Since IPL 2025, they've picked up the third-most wickets in the Powerplay and maintained strong dot-ball pressure, while also dominating the death overs with the most runs and best strike rate. Iyer's 59 percent win rate as captain adds further edge.

North vs South - Firepower on Show! An unbeaten Punjab Kings side meets an explosive Sunrisers Hyderabad unit in what promises to be a high-octane clash in IPL 2026. The stage shifts to the New PCA Stadium, and welcome to Mullanpur, where PBKS return home after a strong display on the road. Three games, no defeats so far for Punjab, while SRH have blown hot and cold but remain one of the most dangerous batting sides. With match-winners on both sides, expect nothing short of fireworks.

... MATCH DAY ...

Clash of firepower in Mullanpur - Punjab Kings take on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 17 of IPL 2026 at the New PCA Stadium. Punjab return home after a couple of games on the road, but it hasn't slowed them down one bit - two wins and a no result have given last season's finalists a strong start. Sunrisers, meanwhile, have had a mixed run with two defeats and a win in between, but given the firepower they possess, they remain a dangerous unit. The last time these two met, it was a run-fest for the ages, and this clash promises more fireworks. Punjab's batting depth shines - Punjab Kings have looked like a well-rounded unit so far, especially in chases. Cooper Connolly's match-winning 72 off 44 set the tone early in the season, while Priyansh Arya's blitz and Shreyas Iyer's 29-ball fifty powered them against CSK. Prabhsimran Singh has been consistent at the top, averaging 40 and providing quick starts. The depth is equally dangerous - Shashank Singh and Marcus Stoinis add serious firepower, with Nehal Wadhera in reserve, though they are yet to be truly tested. Bowlers backing the batters - With the ball, Vijaykumar Vyshak has been their standout performer with five wickets, while Yuzvendra Chahal has controlled the middle overs brilliantly at an economy of just 7 while picking up key breakthroughs. Xavier Bartlett impressed with the new ball in the last game before rain intervened, while Marco Jansen adds balance despite not firing yet. The only concern remains Arshdeep Singh, who has gone wicketless in three games, conceding 99 runs. SRH's explosive core carrying the fight - Sunrisers Hyderabad's biggest strength lies in their batting firepower. The top three of Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head and Ishan Kishan are as destructive as they get. Abhishek's stunning 141 off 55 in the last meeting against Punjab is still fresh, while Kishan showed his class with an 80 off 38 against RCB, though he has been quiet since. However, it's the duo of Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy that has done the heavy lifting. They stitched together a record 82-run stand for the fifth wicket against KKR and then went one better with a 116-run partnership against LSG, though it still wasn't enough. Klaasen has been in sublime touch with two fifties and an average of 48.33, while Reddy continues to impress as a genuine all-round force. Bowling concerns and a missing leader - SRH's bowling has been inconsistent. Jaydev Unadkat and Harsh Dubey have picked up four wickets each, but the likes of Eshan Malinga and David Payne need to step up. Harshal Patel's lack of wickets has also hurt them, and while their young spinner, Shivang Kumar, has shown promise, they need more impact in the middle overs. More importantly, they've missed Pat Cummins, not just with the ball but as a leader. With him away in Australia for scans, Ishan Kishan has had to learn on the go, and SRH will be hoping for positive news on his return. A rivalry dominated by Hyderabad - History heavily favours Sunrisers Hyderabad in this contest. They lead the head-to-head 17-7 and have won the last four meetings between the two sides. It's clear they've had the upper hand in this rivalry, something Punjab will be eager to change, especially with home advantage now on their side. Team form (Last 5 completed games, recent first) - PBKS - WWLWL | SRH - LWLWW. What to expect? With Punjab's balanced unit and SRH's explosive batting, this shapes up as a clash of control versus chaos and an adrenaline-charged one at that. The New PCA Stadium has shown signs of being a good batting surface with true bounce, but as an afternoon game, dew won't be a factor, bringing spinners more into play and making control through the middle overs crucial. Punjab will bank on their depth and bowling discipline, while SRH will look to impose their aggressive tempo. Expect a high-energy contest where one explosive phase could swing the game.
