Strategic Break! It was all about the Indian spinners pressing on the South African batters until Heinrich Klaasen launched a merciless assault against Varun Chakaravarthy. Strategic Break! Well, the Indians are well and truly in the driving seat as we speak as they have managed to remove both the openers and Axar Patel has just got the better of the dangerous Tristan Stubbs right before the break. The spinners have managed to keep things quiet fairly as it seemingly looks like the pitch has slowed down a bit. With three men down, it gives an added responsibility to the South African skipper, Aiden Markram to bail his team out of the trouble. It stays low on the bounce as well. Ryan Rickelton makes barely any foot movement and tries to punch it away from his body. Uh oh, the players are heading off the field. We will have to wait and see how long this delay lasts. Ashwell mentions that the pitch looks like an absolute belter as it is usual to its characteristics of the SuperSport Park. Prince says that it looks a bit dry from the batting point of view. Also reckons that the spinners might enjoy the action later on. Pollock adds that there are a few jigsaw puzzles when you move to the middle of the pitch and mentions that it may have a variable bounce on offer for the seamers as well. Says that in general, if you play at the SuperSport Park, it genuinely is a wicket much suitable for the batters and the teams love chasing at this venue. He also informs that one of the reasons why scoring here is easy is because of the boundary dimensions which are 64 meters and 59 meters at either square. Ends by saying that there will be more runs as compared to a low-scoring contest at Gqeberha.
