Commentary
We are back. Alick Athanaze and Amir Jangoo have walked out to open for West Indies with Mahedi Hasan ready to bowl the first over of the chase.
... The Run Chase ...
With a relatively modest target of 152 runs, they seem well-equipped to chase it down without much trouble. However, Bangladesh will be determined to salvage some pride and avoid a whitewash.
Romario Shepherd of West Indies is up for a chat and he says that he was unaware of being on a hat-trick until he took the wicket, with Holder informing him afterward. Holder even jokingly told him to go for four wickets in four balls! Shepherd was thrilled to join the 'stump-breakers' club. He believes the target is chaseable, citing the team's past success in defending totals around 150.
The West Indies bowling attack was superbly disciplined, sticking to their plans and executing them to perfection. Every bowler played a crucial role, with Romario leading the charge by claiming three wickets. Jason Holder and Khary Pierre each picked up two wickets, while Akeal Hosein and Roston Chase chipped in with a wicket apiece, collectively restricting Bangladesh to a modest total.
Bangladesh got off to a steady start, managing 40 runs in the first six overs while losing just one wicket. Litton Das failed to make an impact once again, and Parvez Hossain Emon couldn't contribute significantly. A brief respite came in the middle overs when Saif Hassan and Tanzid Hasan put together a partnership, but it was short-lived as Saif's wicket fell at a critical juncture. Tanzid was the only batter who showed some application, but the rest of the lineup struggled, losing wickets at regular intervals.
Bangladesh's batting unit struggled once again, managing to post a modest total of 151 runs. Tanzid Hasan was the lone bright spot, while the rest of the batting lineup for the hosts failed to fire, ultimately resulting in a below-par score.

OUT! RUN OUT! Good-length delivery, just outside off. Taskin Ahmed pulls it across the line toward deep square leg and calls for two runs. After completing the first run, Taskin Ahmed is now way near the keeper's end as Ackeem Auguste is rapid enough to get to the ball and throws it toward Jangoo, who dislodges the stumps in time. Bangladesh finishes with 151 runs on the baord!
Full, wide outside off. Taskin Ahmed swings hard once again and misses on the outer edge.
SIX! Bangladesh are 150 runs up! Short of a length, on middle and leg. Taskin Ahmed camps back and swings his bat full-fledgedly. The ball hits the middle of the bat and skies over the deep mid-wicket fence for six more crucial runs.

OUT! BOWLED'EM! Romario Shepherd is on a Hat-Trick! He nails a yorker, right into the blockhole, on off and middle. Shoriful Islam lifts his willow back to offer a big shot, but as he detects the yorker, he tries to drop it willow down, but the ball misses the toe edge of the bat and rattles the middle stump.
OUT! TAKEN! The wickets are tumbling for Bangladesh! He bowls it short of a length, around off. Tanzid Hasan slaps it across the line to loop it over the mid on region, but fails to get the required elevation. The ball flies straight toward Rovman Powell, at mid on, where he reverse scoops the catch near his chest. Shoriful Islam is the new batter on the crease for Bangladesh!

The on-field decision stands.

OUT! CAUGHT! That is a spectacular catch from Rovman Powell! This one is a touch fuller, on off and middle. Nurul Hasan tries to take on the pacer as he looks to loft it over the deep mid-wicket fence, but fails to get the ideal connection. The ball loops toward the long on region. Rovman Powell sprints from the wide long on region, offers a dive and takes the stunning catch.

Commentary
And that's a wrap! The West Indies have ended their Bangladesh tour on a high note, winning the T20I series 3-0 after Bangladesh took the ODI series 2-1. It was an exciting tour with a lot of learning and findings for both sides. Now, Bangladesh gears up to host Ireland, while the Windies prepare for their tour of New Zealand. Until next time, cheers!
The skipper of West Indies and Player Of The Match, Roston Chase, praised Ackeem Auguste, saying he's shown positive signs and deserved his place in the team. Chase mentioned having a chat with Ackeem to play his natural game and he will anchor the innings, which paid off. Chase also acknowledged their fielding lapses but was happy with the total they restricted Bangladesh to.
Romario Shepherd is the Player Of The Series. Romario Shepherd revealed that he was unaware of the hat-trick until his teammates informed him, and he was too focused on completing his overs to celebrate. He praised his teammates, particularly Roston Chase, the captain, and youngster Ackeem Auguste, for their impressive batting, which bodes well for the team's future.
Litton Das, the skipper of Bangladesh, attributed the loss to factors beyond their control, pointing out the difference in conditions during Bangladesh's batting and bowling innings. He felt the Windies benefited from dew during Bangladesh's bowling innings, which made it tough for his team. He praised Tanzid's batting and acknowledged that the Windies executed their plans well, but also mentioned the impact of dropped catches. Das concluded by saying that they'll take the learnings from this series and will work hard to get the result next time.
Presentation...
Earlier, Bangladesh scored 151, thanks to a brilliant knock from Tanzid Hasan. Romario Shepherd claimed a hat-trick and was sensational with the ball. Bangladesh got off to a shaky start, losing two early wickets, before Tanzid Hasan and Saif Hassan added 63 runs for the third wicket. Tanzid scored 89, but his dismissal triggered a collapse, with Shepherd's hat-trick and contributions from Jason Holder, Khary Pierre, Akeal Hosein, and Roston Chase restricting Bangladesh to a modest total.
Bangladesh's bowling was underwhelming, with Taskin Ahmed and Rishad Hossain struggling to contain the Windies' batting lineup. Despite Rishad's 3 wickets, he was expensive and failed to create the impact his side needed. Nasum and Mahedi each picked up a wicket, but it wasn't enough to stop the Windies' victory.
The Windies chased down 152 with ease, thanks to some solid batting. Amir Jangoo set the tone with aggressive batting, with Roston Chase and Ackeem Auguste carrying on the momentum, scoring half-centuries each. Amir Jangoo contributed 34 crucial runs before getting out at the top. The Windies' batting unit performed well to seal the win and the way they countered spin was so refreshing to see.
The West Indies have wrapped up the series in style, winning the final match by 5 wickets and clinching the series 3-0. They've been convincing and comprehensive throughout, showcasing their skill and dominance even with a mix of young and old. A well-deserved win for the Windies.
Another yorker nailed from Taskin Ahmed but Rovman Powell does enough to push this to long on and takes the winning run as a single. West Indies wins this by 5 wickets.

Roston Chase has some last words for his teammates before they take their fielding position. Tanzid Hasan will open with Parvez Hossain Emon for Bangladesh. Jason Holder will have the job to start with the new ball. Here we go...
West Indies captain Roston Chase acknowledged that his team needs to perform well to seal the win. He mentioned that the bowlers have been executing their plans effectively and hoped to continue that trend. Chase informed that the Windies will field a changed lineup, with Shai Hope, Sherfane Rutherford, and Jayden Seales left out, while Amir Jangoo, Gudakesh Motie, and Ackeem Auguste are brought in.
Bangladesh captain Litton Das emphasized that posting a big total would require the opposition to bat well, allowing his team to capitalize. Litton Das urged his batters to play their normal game and bat as long as possible. He acknowledged Tanzid's potential but stressed the importance of middle-order responsibility. Das informed that the Bangladesh team will field a changed lineup, with Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Tawhid Hridoy, and Shamim Hossain left out.
West Indies (Playing XI) - Brandon King, Alick Athanaze, Ackeem Auguste, Amir Jangoo (WK), Roston Chase (C), Rovman Powell, Jason Holder, Romario Shepherd, Gudakesh Motie, Akeal Hosein, Khary Pierre.
Bangladesh (Playing XI) - Litton Das (C)(WK), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Saif Hassan, Nurul Hasan, Jaker Ali, Taskin Ahmed, Mahedi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Shoriful Islam.
TOSS - Success for Litton Das and Bangladesh at the coin flip. Das has elected to BAT first.
West Indies are poised to seal a series whitewash after winning the first two matches, with their top-order batting and sharp bowling attack giving them a strong foundation. Shai Hope is set to lead the batting charge, while Akeal Hosein and Romario Shepherd could prove crucial with the ball, especially in the Powerplay overs. Can Bangladesh pull off an upset and salvage some pride, or will the Windies dominate once again and leave them empty-handed? The final match promises to be an exciting showdown. Stay tuned for toss and team updates.
Flashes of brilliance have marked Bangladesh's series, but consistency has been elusive. While their bowlers have done a decent job, the batting unit has struggled to deliver. Tanzid Hasan's 61 was a highlight, but it wasn't enough to see them over the line against a target of 150. For Bangladesh to turn things around, its batting order will need to come together and show greater composure under pressure. A collective effort is crucial for them to start producing better results.
The stage is set for the final match of the Bangladesh vs West Indies T20I series in Chattogram, where the West Indies are looking to complete a series whitewash after winning the first two matches. Bangladesh, however, will be keen to bounce back and make a statement.
... MATCHDAY ...
The third and final T20I between West Indies and Bangladesh now serves as a dead rubber, with the West Indies having already sealed the series 2-0 after a hard-fought 14-run victory in the second match. This win was set up by a formidable batting display from Alick Athanaze and captain Shai Hope, whose record 105-run partnership rescued the team from an early setback. Despite a dramatic collapse that saw them lose eight wickets for just 43 runs in the latter half of the innings, West Indies managed to post a challenging target of 150. Bangladesh's bowlers, particularly Mustafizur Rahman (3/21) and Nasum Ahmed (2/35), ensured the total remained within reach, but the damage had been done by the West Indies top-order. Bangladesh's chase began poorly, lacking the boundary-scoring fluency needed in the powerplay, a stark contrast to their opponents' performance. Opener Tanzid Hasan played a valiant lone hand, but the lack of substantial support from the middle-order batters proved fatal. The pressure mounted, leading to a significant collapse in the final overs as the required run rate soared. While Jaker Ali's struggle to find the boundary was highlighted, the collective failure of the batting unit to build partnerships ultimately led to them falling short, managing only 135/8. The West Indies bowling attack, despite the team's poor fielding performance on the day, was excellent in taking wickets at crucial moments. Akeal Hosein and Romario Shepherd both claimed three wickets each, dismantling the Bangladesh chase. Hosein's performance was particularly notable as he became the West Indies' all-time second-highest T20I wicket-taker, surpassing Dwayne Bravo. Jason Holder also chipped in with two wickets, rounding out a dominant display from the bowlers who capitalized on the poor shot-making from the Bangladesh batters to secure the series. With the series already won, the third T20I offers West Indies a chance to go for a clean sweep and potentially test their bench strength, while Bangladesh will be desperate to salvage some pride and avoid a whitewash in front of their home crowd. They need their star players to fire collectively, both with the bat and the ball, to prevent another defeat. The match promises to be another competitive affair, with Bangladesh aiming to learn from their mistakes and West Indies looking to finish the tour on a high note.

OUT! TIMBER! Chase departs but not before putting his side in touching distance with the finish line. Floated into the sticks, Roston Chase's feet go nowhere and he is pinned back in his crease. The ball skids onto him and beats him on the inside. The ball sneaks past the inside edge of Chase's bat and rattles the timber behind him.
