We are set for the game to start but first the two sets of players and the umpires lineup for the national anthems. It will be the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates first followed by Nepal's national anthem.

PITCH REPORT - Tino Mawoyo is out in the center for the pitch report. He mentions that it is quite chilly at the moment but will warm up as the day progresses. Says that there is a breeze blowing from east to west and the pitch is bang center so the captains would not find it difficult to decide which side to bowl the spinner or the seamers. Claims that it is a place to chase as four of the six games have been won by the team batting second. Adds that this surface was used three matches ago. Shares that there is a bit of grass on the surface which should help the bowlers get some swing early. Ends by saying that the batters need to keep their discipline and will be able to set a good target.

Vriitya Aravind the captain of United Arab Emirates says it’s a great privilege to lead the country. Adds that he is the 11th player to lead UAE. Says that they were looking to bowl first too as the first 15 overs will give help to the pacers. Mentions that they have 3 changes as well.

Rohit Paudel the skipper of Nepal says looking at conditions they would prefer to bowl first. Claims that they needed to correct a few things so the gap is good for them. Informs that they have three changes and some of them are due to injuries.

UAE, on the other hand, had a horrific outing in the group stage. They failed to win a single encounter and ended at the bottom of the table in Group B. Their batting did not turn up in this tournament and they lost by huge margins against their opponents. UAE skipper Muhammad Waseem and the experienced Rohan Mustafa will have to share the bulk of responsibility while youngsters like Ali Naseer, Aayan Khan, and Vriitya Aravind have been impressive and will hope to be the torchbearers of UAE cricket going forward. Nepal had a solitary win in the group stage against the USA and finished fourth in the table with just 2 points. Their batters did a decent job but the bowlers failed to contain or pick wickets at crucial intervals. The likes of Kushal Bhurtel, Aasif Sheikh, and Bhim Sharki were impressive with the bat while Karan KC did a fine job with the ball.  Nepal will look to put a fine effort against the fellow Asian side and continue their progress on the world stage.
