Commentary
The Dutch kept taking wickets at regular intervals and that always kept them in the. Once they got rid of the top-order they made quick work of the lower and the middle order. Logan van Beek was excellent yet again but it was a combined effort by the Dutch side. The total is now a moderate one and they will back themselves to chase this down. Sri Lanka on the other hand, have been exceptional with the ball and they will hope they can yet again do the job. Who will win the finale?
Excellent from the Ducth and they will be the happier of the two sides walking into the break! This innings was a tale of two halves. First, it was Lanka who dominated the first 25. They looked all set to get to a score of close to 300 as their top 4 got off to starts. Once Sahan Arachchige fell, it was a procession. They kept losing wickets and have fallen well short of where they looked like reaching at one stage.

Commentary
That is it from this game then! Sri Lanka have been brilliant throughout whereas, Netherlands we believed punched above their weight. The whole tournament was extremely entertaining. We hope you enjoyed our company, until next time, take care and goodbye!
Dasun Shanaka says they entered the tournament with confidence. Adds they wanted to show they are a good side. Reckons they played good cricket and were control in most of the situation. Adds the coaches halped a lot. Ends by thanking Zimbabwe cricket.
Scott Edwards says he is very proud of what they have acheieved. He reckons they restricted Lanka to a chasable total but needed to play the spinners well. Adds the Windies win gave them a lot of confidence. He hopes they can do well in India too.

Dilshan Madushanka, MAN OF THE MATCH, he says he is happy he could do well in the finals. Adds, he just tried to bowl it in the right areas. Says Kasun Rajitha has helped him a lot.
Chris Silverwood says their first aim was to qualify for the World Cup, they had a lot of expectitations and they are now a happy side. States they came into the tournament with confidence. Adds the bowlers have been good, the youngsters were excellent and all of them have played their part.
For Netherlands except for Max O'Dowd and Logan van Beek nobody crossed the 20-run mark. Infact, just the three batters managed to score in double figures Quite a sorry batting card for them in this game. They needed a couple of good partnerships but that did not come.
Yet another brilliant performance from the Lankan bowling attack and it is yet another comprehensive win for their side. They have remained unbeaten and were absolutely brilliant. They were bundled out for a score we felt was under par but their bowlers were brilliant. Dilshan Madushanka was brilliant with the new ball. He got three. Then it was the spinners who weaved their magic. Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana were excellent yet again, they took 6 between them to help their side finish on top yet again.

Hello and a warm welcome folks! We have finally arrived to the doomsday. After enormous heartbreaks, upsets and sorrows, it all comes down to these two sides - Sri Lanka and the Netherlands. Both the sides have the tickets to India but the only question in this grand finale is that WHO WILL WIN?

It is now time for the Finals in the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. In this match, Sri Lanka will be locking horns against Netherlands. Although, there is hardly any stake in this match, as both the teams have been qualified for the main-event which will take place in India later this year. Sri Lanka have been the dominant side throughout the qualification round and would certainly be hoping to end their campaign on a positive note. For Sri Lanka, it was their bowling that caused plenty of problems to the opposition side. Nonetheless, it was Pathum Nissanka who did the talking with the bat against West Indies when he smacked a 113-ball 104. Netherlands, on the other hand, have completed the job they came here for. Making it to the World Cup isn't easy but the Dutch side was able to win against all odds and now have an opportunity to perform on the grandest stage of them all. In their previous match against Scotland, it was the heroics of Bas de Leede with both bat and ball which helped Netherlands to get over the line and seal their spot for the main event. Both the teams, will use this final game to master their strategy and we could even see some changes from either sides coming into the match. Who will walk away with the bragging rights? Dasun Shanaka says they entered the tournament with confidence. Adds they wanted to show they are a good side. Reckons they played good cricket and were control in most of the situation. Adds the coaches halped a lot. Ends by thanking Zimbabwe cricket.
Scott Edwards says he is very proud of what they have acheieved. He reckons they restricted Lanka to a chasable total but needed to play the spinners well. Adds the Windies win gave them a lot of confidence. He hopes they can do well in India too.

Dilshan Madushanka, MAN OF THE MATCH, he says he is happy he could do well in the finals. Adds, he just tried to bowl it in the right areas. Says Kasun Rajitha has helped him a lot.
Chris Silverwood says their first aim was to qualify for the World Cup, they had a lot of expectitations and they are now a happy side. States they came into the tournament with confidence. Adds the bowlers have been good, the youngsters were excellent and all of them have played their part.
For Netherlands except for Max O'Dowd and Logan van Beek nobody crossed the 20-run mark. Infact, just the three batters managed to score in double figures Quite a sorry batting card for them in this game. They needed a couple of good partnerships but that did not come.
Yet another brilliant performance from the Lankan bowling attack and it is yet another comprehensive win for their side. They have remained unbeaten and were absolutely brilliant. They were bundled out for a score we felt was under par but their bowlers were brilliant. Dilshan Madushanka was brilliant with the new ball. He got three. Then it was the spinners who weaved their magic. Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana were excellent yet again, they took 6 between them to help their side finish on top yet again.
