UPDATE 1030 IST (0500 GMT) - GOOD NEWS! The rain has stopped and the covers are coming off. It should not be long before we resume.

We still have some time before we start losing some overs! For now though, the drizzle remains and the covers are firmly on. There seems to be a strong wind blowing so we are hoping it clears quickly.

The plays now make their way off! They are not rushing into the dressing room so that might be signs that it is not that heavy and they expect it to pass by. For now though, we are in for a delay as the covers are on. Let us hpe it is a short one.
