নয়াদিল্লি: ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি (World University Games 2023) গেমসের প্রথম দিনই ভারতের ঝুলিতে তিনটি সোনা। চিনের ছেংতু শহরে শুরু হয়েছে বিশ্ব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গেমস। সেখানে ভারতের হয়ে প্রথম দিন জোড়া সোনা জিতেছেন শুটার মনু ভাকের (Manu Bhaker)। তিনি ছাড়া ভারতকে তৃতীয় সোনা এনে দিয়েছেন ভারতীয় শুটার এলাভেনিল ভালারিভান (Elavenil Valarivan)। চিনে চলা ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি গেমসের প্রথম দিন তিনটি সোনা ছাড়া একটি ব্রোঞ্জও পেয়েছেন ভারতীয় অ্যাথলিটরা। বিস্তারিত জেনে নিন TV9Bangla Sports এর এই প্রতিবেদনে।
এর আগে অলিম্পিয়ান শুটার এলাভেনিল ভালারিভান ২০১৯ সালে ইতালিতে হওয়া বিশ্ব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় গেমসে তিনি রুপো এবং ব্রোঞ্জ পেয়েছিলেন। এ বার তিনি চিনে অনুষ্ঠিত হওয়া ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি গেমসে মহিলাদের ১০ মিটার এয়ার রাইফেল ইভেন্টে ২৫২.৫ পয়েন্ট অর্জন করে সোনা জিতেছেন। ফলে এখন এই বিশ্ব বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ইভেন্ট থেকে এলাভেনিল ভালারিভানের তিনটি পদক হয়ে গেল।

এলাভেনিল ভালারিভান ছাড়া ভারতের আরও এক অলিম্পিয়ান মনু ভাকের মহিলাদের ১০ মিটার এয়ার পিস্তল ইভেন্টে ২৩৯.৭ পয়েন্ট অর্জন করে সোনা জেতেন। ৩১তম ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি গেমসে এটি ভারতের দ্বিতীয় সোনা জয়।

চলতি ওয়ার্ল্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি গেমস থেকে ভারত তৃতীয় সোনার পদক পেয়েছে মহিলাদের ১০ মিটার এয়ার পিস্তল টিম ইভেন্টে। সেখানে মনু ভাকের, যশস্বিনী সিং দেশওয়াল ও অভিদন্যা অশোক পাটিলের হাত ধরে দ্বিতীয় সোনা জেতে ভারত।
