The ball is evidently gripping and getting a good purchase off the deck that has pushed Chennai on the back foot. Says it is 70 meters and 63 meters to the square and just 60 meters down the ground. Matthew Hayden joins him and states that it has a lot of grass covering and the surface is rock hard. Also adds that the red soil keeps it harder and reckons that spinners will have a huge role to play. Also expects a good bounce and carry.
