OUT! LBW! The resistance has finally been broken by Jasprit Bumrah and Ollie Robinson is in disbelief! The slower delivery from around the wicket is angled away a bit and Robinson misses his defensive shot. The ball goes on to hit Ollie on the back leg and the Indians appeal in unison. What a lively finish to the afternoon session, a fitting end! India declared after batting for just 9 balls and then came out all guns blazing with the ball. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami combined to send the English openers back to the pavilion in no time. After that, it was a display of some extraordinary seam bowling. Haseeb Hameed got an early life in his innings and batted for around an hour with his skipper Joe Root in an 83-ball stand.

OUT! LBW! Lightning has struck on the last ball before Tea. Ishant Sharma and India are elated as the decision is overturned. Length ball, around off and nipping back in sharply. Bairstow looks to block but the ball goes through the gate and raps him on the back pad. There is a huge appeal from the Indians but the umpire shakes his head. Right then, the ball is now in India's court. They have a lead of 259 and have the option to declare now. Will Virat Kohli take that? Or will we see India continue with their batting? England lost the plot badly. Once Jasprit Bumrah arrived at the crease, their attempt was more about bouncing him out and probably giving him the taste of his own medicine. What happened with James Anderson on Day 3 may have clouded their minds as their lines and lengths went awry. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami took a few blows but then gave it back as well. There were banters and sledging, and that only made these two batters mentally stronger. Shami and Bumrah have their best Test scores at the moment and their partnership has hurt England's chances massively. Bumrah did offer England one chance but Root dropped the catch and the pair has added close to 30 runs after that.

A session well and truly belonging to two individuals, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah. Nopes, they are not bowling yet, they have done the miracle with the bat. An unbeaten stand worth 77 runs has taken the wind out of the English sails. The build-up before Day 5 was around Rishabh Pant but he didn't do much with the blade. England managed to strike early to remove both the overnight batsmen but they would not have imagined in their wildest dreams that India's number 9 and number 10 would put up a fight like this. It's been a sensational batting show by this pair. They started in a typical tail-ender fashion but slowly grew in confidence to play some proper cricketing shots. The lead is stretched to 259 runs after India scored runs at a rate above four in the morning session.

Vikram Rathour, the batting coach of India, talked to the media after Day 4. He sounded happy with the performance of the Indian openers. Added that they always analyze when they get out and what was their thought process while playing the shot. Regarding Rohit's dismissal, Rathour replies that he will continue to play the pull shot as it has fetched him runs and the only thing is to be selective. On Virat Kohli, Vikram Rathour opines that there is no issue with Kohli and it was only a lapse of concentration.

How's Mark Wood? He injured his bowling hand last evening while preventing a boundary and was seen heavily strapped on the right shoulder. England would be sweating on his availability as his extra pace could be handy against the Indian tail. We will let you know about his fitness as soon as we get any updates. Nick Knight (on air) informed that they interviewed Wood a while back and he was not looking fully fit. The fast bowler will be going for some treatment and his availability is uncertain at the moment.

Ball Tampering, eh? One tweet from Virender Sehwag, another from Aakash Chopra and social media was flooded with ball-tampering posts. Once the whole footage was found out, it appeared nothing more than an accident. So, the moral of the story is that in this world of fake news, never believe screenshots or video clips that tell you only half the story. The incident involved Mark Wood and Rory Burns and it happened in the 32nd over. A defensive shot was played back to the bowler by Ajinkya Rahane and Wood tried to stop it with his boot and if you know Wood's love for football, he tried to nutmeg Burns who was coming to collect the ball. But accidentally, Wood's attempt got stuck below Rory's boot. There was no malice. It wasn't deliberate. Later on, Vikram Rathour, the batting coach of India, also echoed the same thoughts in his interview. End of the story.

Numbers game! How many runs will make India feel safe? That's the question. Sunil Gavaskar is in the studio and he comes up with his brave prediction. The Little Master says that anything between 180-200 and India can defend it. He further goes deep with his prediction and tells that India will win by 19 runs with two overs to spare. Wow! What a finish we have in store then for the final day! When India lost Kohli, Rohit and Rahul in the first session, many of us felt, that the Indian innings would be wrapped up quickly. That was not the case though as Pujara and Rahane showed a lot of fight. The two batted for around 50 overs and added 100. Rahane scored a half ton and Pujara was on course for one. However, it was Wood again who got the breakthrough for England and that one wicket just opened the floodgate as Moeen then got rid of Rahane and Jadeja. Ishant and Pant though then fought it out before bad light stopped play.

England on the other hand, have bowled well. They have hardly given any runs away, they have kept it tight but have not looked so threatening. The good thing for them is, the wicket has started to slow down and since, India have not scored a lot, they are just the two wickets away from taking total control of the game. An important third session awaits.

A wicketless session for the visitors but they have actually gone nowhere in the game! A very cautious approach has seen the lead only go to 78! However, it was very important for the two to hang in there. More than the runs, one has to believe survival was more important. The two though have got their eye in, the wicket seems to have gotten easier and now India will hope they can cash in. They need to build on this, not to forget, India have a long tail so a lot will depend on these two experienced players.

DRINKS! This session has moved on pretty slowly. But the ball isn't moving much now. The help that the pitch was offering to the pacers cannot be seen anymore. Rahane and Pujara have done well to see off the first hour after Lunch without losing any wickets. It looks to be a good batting pitch now and these too would hope to remain unscathed unitl Tea now. The England bowlers bowled really well throughout but are unable to wickets. The key though will be to remain patient. Yes, India havve done well after the break but England well and truly ahead in the game. It is now about who blinks first? The batters or the bowlers.

India are in big trouble! The batters they have been relying on in this series have been dismissed. The batters who are batting out there are yet to get some runs in this series, they need to find form somehow. It is time for them to step up and what better time than when your team needs it desperately. They not only have to bat time but have to try and score runs too. A lot will depend on the current pair, can the two deliver or will England continue to dominate after the break? We will find out.

25 overs, 56 runs and 3 wickets in this session! Those numbers just show how good England have been. Root could not have asked for anything better this morning. If there were three wickets the hosts would have wished for early on then it would be the wickets of Rohit, Rahul and Kohli and they have got those three. Not only that, their bowlers have been extremely disiplined and have not let India score freely too. Also, the changes from Root have been outstanding. He got on Wood early and he was the one who got the openers. Then introduced Curran who struck gold by taking Kohli out. Anderson and Robinson have also been good but Root would love for them to chip in with the wickets.

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Sam Curran brings out the Imran Tahir celebration as he runs around in joy! Why not? He has had a poor time so far in this Test, no wickets in the first innings, a duck that too a first ball duck with the bat but he has got the big fish, the Indian skipper who was looking solid, Virat Kohli. India are effectively 28 for 3. Once again Kohli did not need to play at that one. For the second time in this series he has fallen to a delivery which he could have easily left. It is on a length, it lands just outside off and angles away further. Maybe Kohli was worried about the ball coming back in or maybe he was just done in by the angle as Curran was constantly changing sides. Kohli has probably been sucked into the trap. He pushes at it, the ball goes off the outside edge and the keeper takes it. Kohli walks back shaking his head, he knows he has made a mistake. Still some time for Lunch, England would love another one. Also, this dismissal reminded me of how Sachin was dismissed 19 years ago to Pedro Collins. That same angle, the tall left-arm pacer, landed it around off and angled it away. Sachin poked at it, it found the edge and Jacobs did the rest. It was the third Test in 2002 between India and Windies in Bridgetown. India went onto lose that game by 10 wickets. They are in deep trouble here too.
