Ravi Bishnoi bowls this one quick and flat again and pushes it just across the off stump, Hetmyer leans on to block and the ball zips past the outside edge and KL Rahul manages to pouch is somehow. Adds that they have the same combination as the previous year and Quinton de Kock, Nicholas Pooran, Marcus Stoinis and Naveen-ul-Haq are the four overseas players in the playing XI. Concludes that everybody will get their chances going ahead and there are some really exciting players in the team who will be eager to do well.

Adds that they were prepared to do both but have gone for a different combination. It is now time for match number 4 of the 2024 Indian T20 League as Rajasthan host Lucknow at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. With the competition in the Indian T20 League becoming increasingly fierce with each passing season, both teams will be eager to hit the ground running and secure a victory in their opening match. Rajasthan narrowly missed out on a playoff berth last season, finishing fifth. Retaining overseas assets Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, and Donovan Ferreira, Rajasthan reinforced their batting prowess with the addition of Rovman Powell and Tom Kohler-Cadmore. On the bowling front, Trent Boult will continue to spearhead the pace attack, and they have roped in Nandre Burger to support the Kiwi left-arm pacer. The inaugural winners of the Indian T20 League will be without the services of Aussie leggie Adam Zampa, who has opted out due to personal reasons.
