Ends by adding that they need to be patient with this squad and that the more they play, they will get better.

Sufiyan Muqeem is the PLAYER OF THE MATCH for his OUTSTANDING BOWLING EFFORT.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations...

Earlier today, Zimbabwe opted to bat first and were dismissed for just 57 runs inside 13 overs. The opening batters got off to a fine start but the middle and lower order collapsed like a pack of cards failed to form any kind of partnerships. Sufiyan Muqeem with a five-wicket haul was the standout bowler while Abbas Afridi with a couple of wickets also did a fine job. Pakistan will be delighted with the series win and will want to try some fresh faces in the next game while Zimbabwe will look to salvage some pride and win the final game.

A clinical all-round effort from Pakistan helps them thrash Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the second T20I of the three-match series and take an unassailable 2-0 lead. Chasing a paltry score of 58 for the win, the openers came out all guns blazing and got the job done inside six overs. Saim Ayub made a quick fire 36 off 18 while Omair Yousuf chipped in with 22. Not a lot to talk about the Zimbabwe bowling as they did not have any runs on the board and it was a day to forget for the home side.

5.34

FOUR MORE! Saim Ayub seals the deal for Pakistan. Short of a good length outside off. Saim Ayub slaps it hard through the backward point region for a cracking boundary. Pakistan win by 10 wickets with more than 14 overs to spare and take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.

5.20

Slower back of a length delivery around off. Saim Ayub rides the bounce and knocks into the cover region.

Slight Halt! Clive Madande looks in some pain here. The physio comes in to attend to him. He is going off the field now.

5.14

FOUR! Nicely done! Back of a length delivery around off. Saim Ayub hangs back and guides it toward the deep backward point region. Clive Madande runs around to make the stop but his wrist gets stuck in the outfield as he tries to collect it and the ball parries into the ropes. Just a single is needed now.

Commentary

Welcome back for the second essay. The players and umpires return to the field. Saim Ayub and Omair Yousuf stride out to open the batting for Pakistan. Sikandar Raza will start with the ball for Zimbabwe. Let's go...

…THE RUN CHASE…

Pakistan are a dominating force at the moment. What a performance it is from the Pakistani bowlers! They bowled really well. Abbas Afridi was the one who started the downfall. He troubled the batters with his movement and once the spinners were in, it was all over for Zimbabwe. Sufiyan Muqeem picked up five wickets in just 16 deliveries. It was magical to see him as Zimbabwe were just not able to read him. It looks like the winner is clear but Zimbabwe will hope they can stretch it as long as possible. Stay tuned.

We could bet that not even Sikandar Raza thought this outcome while choosing to bat first. At first, when Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani started the innings, they dealt in boundaries and it looked like Zimbabwe are up for the task but once Bennett fell, the floodgates opened up. Zimbabwe lost six wickets inside 10 runs. It never looked like Zimbabwe would uplift themselves at any point in the game.

A sorry looking batting card. Really hard to express anything about Zimbabwe right now. It was a must win game for them to keep the series alive but they have produced one of the worst possible outcomes with the bat. Zimbabwe are bowled out for just 57. They chose to bat first but not in their wildest dream they saw this coming.

12.4W

OUT! GONE! Sufiyan Muqeem has five! Bowls the leggie, full and on  off, Clive Madande looks to sweep but top edges it behind the keeper. Salman Agha who was stationed at slip runs behind and takes it. Zimbabwe are bowled out for 57.

We are ready for the action. The umpires make their way out in the middle. The Pakistani players are out in the middle. Abrar Ahmed to bowl first. Brian Bennett and Tadiwanashe Marumani to open for Zimbabwe. Let's play...

Salman Agha says they have a good team that can bat first or chase down the score. Tells they need to bowl well in the powerplay and need to improve the fielding and batting. Mentions the top order needs to click.

Sikandar Raza says they will bat first. Tells it's a young side and they need to upscalling themselves. Mentions they need to play well that the first match, read the conditions well. Informs they are unchanged.

Pakistan (Playing XI) - Omair Yousuf, Saim Ayub, Usman Khan (WK), Salman Agha (C), Tayyab Tahir, Irfan Khan, Jahandad Khan, Abbas Afridi, Haris Rauf, Abrar Ahmed, Sufiyan Muqeem.

Zimbabwe (Playing XI) - Brian Bennett, Tadiwanashe Marumani (WK), Dion Myers, Sikandar Raza (C), Ryan Burl, Clive Madande, Tashinga Musekiwa, Wellington Masakadza, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, Trevor Gwandu.

TOSS - Zimbabwe have won the toss and will BAT.

An inexperienced Pakistan team have done really well so far. The youngsters in the squad are showing their best impressions and are grabbing the opportunity from both hands. It was a collective performance in the first match with Tayyab Tahir being the Player of the Match for showing his finishing skills. The spin duo, Sufiyan Muqeem and Abrar Ahmed have been the pick of the bowlers so far not just from the last game but the overall tour. Zimbabwe have done well in patches but as Sikandar Raza said in the post match interview, the players need to take responsibility and today the platform is set to showcase their attributes. Can Zimbabwe level things up or Pakistan will seal the series? Toss coming up next...

Hello everyone to the second T20I between Zimbabwe and Pakistan. Pakistan have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series and a win today could see them win both formats on the tour however, the hosts will be keen on keeping the tour alive but they have to bring out their best game to square the honours.

...MATCH DAY...

We shift our focus to the 2nd T20I between Zimbabwe and Pakistan in Bulawayo. The visitors made a strong statement in the opening game, defending a decent total of 165 to inflict a 57-run defeat on the hosts. Despite their convincing win, Pakistan still has concerns that need to be addressed. Their scoring rate at the top of the order remains a worry, and they will be looking to improve their middle-order contributions. On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be seeking to bounce back from their disappointing loss. They had a strong grip on the game during the chase but lost momentum due to a cluster of wickets. The hosts will be hoping to put up a more sustained challenge. With the series on the line, Zimbabwe will be eager to level the score, while Pakistan will aim to take an unassailable lead. The stage is set for an exciting contest.
