Drinks! It’s been a challenging period for the batters, with the ball consistently nipping off the surface and the occasional delivery rising sharply. Australia have certainly struggled at times, but they've managed to weather the storm and keep the scoreboard ticking. Smith and Green will now need to forge a solid partnership to recover from the loss of two early wickets. Meanwhile, England will aim to maintain the pressure, probing for more breakthroughs and looking to steadily chip away at the Australian lineup. The ball nips away off the deck, enough to catch the outside edge and it is taken cleanly by the keeper, Jamie Smith low to his right. SIX! Sweetly timed! Mitchell Marsh sends it miles into the stands! Shorter in length, over middle and leg, Marsh quickly reads the length and nails his pull over mid-wicket for a biggie.

Is that a bump ball? Looks like it but the umpires want to be sure. On a fullish length, on off, Mitchell Marsh squeezes it out as the ball goes to second slip where it is taken by Ben Duckett. There was a sound as the ball passed next to the bat but the replays show that the ball brushed the right pocket of Marsh on the way back to the keeper.

Shares that he will open the innings in place of Head. Feels that it is important to stay in the present and reckons that they have got a good chance to win the series today.

Harry Brook, the skipper of England says they will have a bowl first. Adds that the pitch looks good and hopes there is something in it for the bowlers. Mentions that the atmosphere is really good and hopes for Carse and Potts, the local lads to continue the way they played and he is looking forward to a good game.
