OUT! BOWLED'EM! This is fantastic bowling from Harshit Rana and he draws first blood for India. Similar line and length to the previous delivery, tight and around off stump. Rana gets the ball to angle in quickly and just gets it to straighten a touch. Devon Conway keeps hanging on the back foot and gets completely squared up. The ball castles into the off stump and the stump gets knocked out of the ground as well. Conway departs for 16 (21) and New Zealand are 22/1. Replays show that the ball actually clipped the back pad before hitting the stumps.

DROPPED? The reaction tells it all. On a good length and in the channel, straightening off the deck. Devon Conway hangs back and edges it down to the left of the keeper. KL Rahul gets down but grasses it.

DRINKS BREAK! New Zealand have pretty much dominated the middle phase of this first innings but after having India at 118/4, Michael Bracewell might have missed a trick by not bringing on Kyle Jamieson for a quick burst and trying to get India 5 or even 6 down. The spinners have bowled really economically but KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja are forging a solid stand out there in the middle. With 34 overs done, we will also see the umpires present the option to the Kiwi skipper of choosing between the two balls currently in play for the remainder of the innings. The pitch looks slow and the ball seems to be scuffed up, which might encourage the bowlers in the final few overs as well. Let's see how the first innings pans out.
