Sri Lankan stalwart Lasith Malinga has announced his retirement from T20s and has now officially retired from all forms of the game.

The spinners have been great and the pacers have done well in conditions that don't necessarily suit them. But judging by the way they have adapted to life without their superstars, they might just be the dark horses of the tournament, but all this is for the future.
