Skipper, Rishabh Pant and Mitchell Marsh have made full use of the fielding restrictions as even after losing two early wickets, Delhi continue to be the highest-scoring side in the Powerplay, The match is now more evenly balanced and this break might have come at the right time for Lucknow and now they can compose themselves and get back on track. It is always a matter of wickets and the scoring rate slows down automatically. For Delhi though, these two need to continue their partnership for as long as possible.

OUT! TAKEN! David Warner, the other half of the dynamic duo for Delhi departs now and it is a woeful start for them. Just short of a length from Mohsin Khan on middle. Warner short-arm jabs it straight to the man at mid-wicket. Ayush Badoni takes a good sharp and low catch but the umpires just want to make sure that it is a fair catch. The third umpire takes his time to check the replays and concludes that the fingers were underneath and Warner has to depart.

Is this a fair catch? It looks close. The on-field umpires have taken it upstairs. The replays roll in and they confirm that the catch is taken cleanly. So David Warner has to walk back.

OUT! CAUGHT! Prithvi Shaw gets a bit ahead of himself and throws his wicket away. Chameera changes his length and bangs it in short around off. Dream start for Lucknow, not an ideal one for Delhi though.

On Saturday, we finally saw Mumbai bag its first points of the season. Also, Bangalore lost its third game in a row. That loss now gives Delhi a chance to topple them in the table with a win here. They though are up against a high-flying Lucknow side who can move to second place with a victory. Both the sides head into this game on the back of a win and this promises to be a cracker.
