Have to say for now the Aussies are slightly ahead in the game but a wicket or two quickly and they could be under some serious pressure. However, the hosts came in with a twist as they cut the tail adding around just 10 runs. Shamar Joseph got retired out as Mitchell Starc came in with a scorching yorker right on his toes. His availability is a big concern for West Indies as they are to defend the total. In the chase, Usman Khawaja tickled down one to the keeper and Marnus Labuschagne edged one as well. Cameron Green survived while Steven Smith looked in good shape throughout. He has to play a big part in the chase. Day 4 might be the result day in this game. A really good day for the hosts and they are in the driving seat at the moment. West Indies dominated the start of the day, the first one and a half sessions were excellent for them as the middle order showed great character to score runs regularly. All of them got to a start but failed to make the most of it. Kavem Hodge was batting brilliantly and had the game in control but a lapse of concentration saw him getting run out by Travis Head. Justin Greaves and Kevin Sinclair then got things back on the track. West Indies were leading by 200 runs when they went into the last session.

A much needed stand building up for West Indies and the lead have gone past 200 now. Alick Athanaze and Kavem Hodge showed great character on the pitch before giving away their wickets after getting a good start. Joshua Da Silva, who got the Windies out of trouble in the first innings went cheaply. Justin Greaves has been batting though and Sinclair has done well so far to see past this session. Australia, on the flip side were brilliant on the field. Travis Head at short leg, Cameron Green at gully, both made huge effort to get the two set batters. Australia will feel they are still in the game. If they somehow keep under 250. They have a big chance to win but the Windies have a long tail who can bat. Stay tuned.

A session both the teams will be happy with it. West Indies scored around 93 runs but lost two wickets as well. Kraigg Brathwaite and Kirk Mckenzie started well, going after the loose balls and respecting the good ones. Kirk Mckenzie in particular was dealing in boundaries. Kraigg Brathwaite once again got to a start but gifted away his wicket. Kirk Mckenzie then failed to make the most of his start. Alick Athanaze was given a lifeline as he was dropped at second slip right at the stroke of this break. Australia didn't start well but will be happy with how they bowled after that. The pitch isn't helping much but there are still some demons left that can be scattered. This pitch is made for someone like Cameron Green and Mitchell Marsh.
