The young man knows what he wants to do and executes the plan to perfection. A laser-guided near-yorker this time, on the middle pole, Najmul Hossain Shanto is completely undone as he attempts to play across the line and the middle stump is off the ground. Perfect start for Babar's lads! The umpire quickly checks for the no ball but Shahnawaz Dahani is fine with his landing. He can continue with his celebration.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, says that the toss is not in your hand and they will look to pick early wickets and pressurize Bangladesh. Wants to win this match and carry that momentum into the Test series. Feels that the pitch is a bit challenging to bat on and they would look to assess the conditions and play accordingly. Informs that they have made four changes to their last XI - Sarfaraz Ahmed, Iftikhar Ahmed, Usman Qadir and Shahnawaz Dahani replace Fakhar Zaman, Shoaib Malik, Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi.

Mahmudullah, the Bangladesh skipper, says that they will bat first again. Says that they didn't make the partnership that they wanted and if they can do those things, then they can get 140-plus on this wicket. Tells that the top and the middle order need to put up a good show. Informs that they have three changes to their side as Saif Hassan, Mustafizur Rahman, and Shoriful Islam miss out and Shamim Hossain, Shohidul Islam (debut), and Nasum Ahmed come in.

Mohammad Rizwan comes up for a quick chat. Says that getting the chance to open has done wonders to him and his career. Tells that he keeps things simple and thanks the support staff. Adds that they have been playing in different conditions and in Bangladesh also, it's a bit tricky. States that they assess the conditions and try their best, sometimes you succeed and sometimes you don't. Talks about his illness during the T20 World Cup and thanks the Almighty and his family for all the prayers.

Update - Pacer Kamrul Islam Rabbi and batter Parvez Hossain Emon are the two new players Bangladesh have added to their squad ahead of the third T20I of this series. Also, there is an update from the Pakistan camp - Shahnawaz Dahani is all set to make his T20I debut.

Pakistan were one of the dominant teams in the Super 12 stage of the recently concluded T20 World Cup and they have continued their dominance in this T20I series too. The bowling has been top-notch in both games with all bowlers chipping in with wickets. The young Mohammad Wasim has also lived up to his billing and provides an extra option to Pakistan for the future. Their batting, on the other hand, was tested in the first game with their prolific openers departing early but the lower middle order showed great application to take them over the finish line. In the second game, though, Pakistan's batting was more clinical with Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan putting up a solid partnership and eventually winning the game with 8 wickets. With the series already done and dusted, Pakistan are in with a chance to whitewash Bangladesh on their home turf. Can they continue their dominance?

After the two games, the Tigers would know how important Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, and Mushfiqur Rahim are to Bangladesh cricket. The hosts have struggled to get runs at the top, the openers, Mohammad Naim and Saif Hassan have managed to put only 4 runs together in two matches and failed to give them the desired start. The Bangladesh seamers have done an impressive job, they have managed to dismiss Babar Azam early in both matches, something we don't see this happening that often, do we? However, they will be hoping to continue the same with the ball and keep the Pakistan skipper silent in the final game as well. Having said that, the Bangladesh batters need to put on a better show for them if they want to end the series with a win.

With both the T20I matches going Pakistan's way, they have already clinched the series but will be eyeing a complete whitewash. Bangladesh though will be hoping to end the series on a high and give the home crowd something to smile about in this dead rubber.
