Angled into the left-hander, short and on off, Soumya Sarkar taps it to the right of mid off for a single.

FOUR BYES! Sharp turn! Chase slows it down and pitches it around middle and leg, on a nagging length. Saif looks to help it away off the pads but the ball spins past him sharply. It also beats the keeper to his left and races away into the fence.

Attacking the stumps, full in length, Saif Hassan pushes at the ball with hard hands and the ball lobs off the upper half of the bat in the vacant silly point region.

Stays around the wicket for the right-hander, lands it full, on off, Saif gets right behind it.

Samuel Badree adds that it’s no surprise Bangladesh have added another spinner, while West Indies have opted to drop their two frontline pacers given the conditions. Shares that the surface has a mosaic pattern, the cracks have already started to open up, and spin is expected to play a pivotal role once again. He opines that playing late will be key on this surface and using the depth of the crease will be crucial, something Tawhid Hridoy did particularly well in the previous game, and something the West Indies batters will need to take note of.

Darren Sammy, the head coach of the West Indies, presents a maiden ODI cap to Ackeem Auguste. The left-handed batter becomes the 228th male player to represent the West Indies in ODIs.

The captain of West Indies, Shai Hope shares that they have had positive discussions on how to tackle spin in the middle phase of the game. Adds that they are looking forward to today's challenge. Believes that the surface is spin friendly but there will be help for the pacers if they can bowl in the right areas. Feels that if you are disciplined with your lines and lengths, it is difficult to score for batters on such tracks. Informs that they have made two changes with Akeal Hosein and Ackeem Auguste coming into the side with Auguste making his ODI debut.

The captain of Bangladesh, Mehidy Hasan Miraz believes that 230-240 is a very good total on this surface and they could have scored 30 runs more in the last game had they batted the entire 50 overs. Praises Mahidul Islam Ankon's knock and says they didn't expect a debutant to play such fearless cricket. Mentions that the partnership between Hridoy and Ankon was the turning point after they lost early wickets. Informs they have made one change as Nasum Ahmed comes in for Taskin Ahmed.

The visitors’ bowlers did their job well, bowling the hosts out for 207, but their batting faltered after a steady 51-run opening stand. Rishad Hossain made full use of the spin-friendly conditions, claiming six wickets to spin Bangladesh to victory. With similar conditions anticipated, the Windies will need greater contributions from Brandon King, Roston Chase, Sherfane Rutherford, and skipper Shai Hope to steady their batting effort.
