That is all from this game! Pakistan win the series but there is still one more game to go. The third ODI will be played on 21st August at 2.30 pm IST (9 am GMT). Do join us for the build up as well. Cheers!

Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan says they had a good start with the ball and they made good use of the conditions and later the spinners did well and he is happy with how the team played. Reckons there is moisture in the wicket earlier on and that is why they wanted to bowl first. Credits Agha Salman for the way he played and he has impressed and he hopes he can continue.

Scott Edwards, the skipper of Netherlands says at the start he knew it wasn’t going to be easy, it is not easy to come back from being 3 down in no time by Cooper and Bas de Leede played really well. States 250 would have been a good total but they just could not get going in the lower order. Adds the wicket does play well for spinners but he is disappointed with the way they got out. Ends by saying they are looking forward to the next game.

Mohammad Nawaz is the Player of the Match for taking three wickets. He says he enjoyed the conditions and it felt like Karachi. Adds he wants the batters to go after him as there are more chances of wickets. States he just wants to give his 100 percent and he just wants to perform well.

...Presentation coming up...

Earlier, Netherlands opted to bat first but the decision proved to be a wrong one as no one apart from Bas de Leede and Tom Cooper made an impact. They ended with an under-par score. Credit to the Pakistani bowlers who were exceptional with the ball. Later, it was a comfortable chase by the visitors as Babar Azam, Rizwan and Salman scored a fifty.

Netherlands had very less to bowl at! They started brilliantly by taking two wickets early on but after that, they allowed a couple of partnerships to build which was enough to take the game away from them. Vivian Kingma was decent with the ball but it was very hard for the bowlers to play with a low score. The others tried hard but it just didn't happen for the Dutch team.

A pretty easy win in the end for Pakistan and with this, they clinch the series as they go 2-0 up. Pakistan were rocked back early as both the openers fell quickly but Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan eased things out by playing some delightful stroke and notched a stand worth of 88. Babar fell after scoring his fifty but till then Pakistan were in a good position. Rizwan and Agha Salman later chased down the target pretty easily with both scoring a half-century.

SIX! Fifty for Afgha Salman! He does bring it up! His first in ODIs and what a way to bring it up. Brilliant. That is also the winning runs. He ends the game in style too! Fuller and on middle, this is heaved over the long on fence for a biggie. PAKISTAN WIN BY 7 WICKETS!

33.34

FOUR! Up and over! Fuller and on off, Salman lifts it over mid off for a boundary. Two more needed and Agha needs a biggie for a 50.

Commentary

We are back for the chase. The players are out in the middle. Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq are the openers for Pakistan. Aryan Dutt to start with the ball.

...The Chase...

Now the target should be one which Pakistan should easily chase. Netherlands will have to bowl really well if they are to make a match out of this. There is something in the wicket of the bowlers but can the hosts make use of it? We will find out. Join us in a bit for the second essay.

For Netherlands, it was just about the one partnership and two batters, Tom Cooper and Bas de Leede. Both got a lifeline and then went on to add over 100 as both scored over fifty. None of the others managed to cross the 20-run mark and had a couple of others also played well, they could have got to a competitive total. Bas de Leede stayed till the end but didn't get much support from the other side and he alone tried his best to take hihs team to a decent total.

The new ball bowlers did the job earlier on and then later on it was Mohammad Nawaz who bowled brilliantly. However, all the bowlers had a good outing. Except for Khushdil Shah who only bowled 2 overs, all the others managed a wicket at least.

An excellent display with the ball from Pakistan and they are well and truly on top in this game. The key for them was picking wickets in heaps and that is what dented Netherlands’ chances to get to a good total.

44.1W

OUT! TAKEN! A full ball in the slot on off and De Leede lofts it high in the air but fails to get enough distance as Fakhar Zaman at long on takes it with ease. An excellent innings from Bas de Leede comes to an end. He tried his best to stay till the end and score some quick runs. Netherlands are all out on 186.

We are all set. The Pakistani players are out in the middle. A historic day for Netherlands as this is their 100th ODI game. Vikramjit Singh and Max O'Dowd are the openers for Netherlands. Haris Rauf to open with the ball.

Babar Azam, the skipper of Pakistan says there is a bit of moisture as there were covers placed throughout due to rain. Adds that the ground is very hard but they are relaxed and ready to go. Says it is good to be here, they have a bunch of fast bowlers and he is happy with the squad. Informs they are unchanged.

Scott Edwards, the skipper of Pakistan says they will bat first. Adds they have been in a winning position but are failing to get over the line. Shares that this condition suits their bowling attack. They are confident and hope to close the game properly. Tells that he is happy to bat where the team requires. Informs they are unchanged.

PITCH REPORT - It was raining earlier but it's a beautiful blue sky right now. The pitch is rock hard. The pitch should play similar to the first game.

Pakistan (Unchanged playing XI) - Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam (C), Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Agha Salman, Khushdil Shah, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah.

Netherlands (Unchanged playing XI) - Scott Edwards (C/WK), Logan van Beek, Tom Cooper, Teja Nidamanuru, Vikramjit Singh, Bas de Leede, Tim Pringle, Max O'Dowd, Wesley Barresi, Aryan Dutt, Vivian Kingma.

TOSS - Netherlands have won the toss and they will BAT first!

Pakistan have one of the best batting line up but their bowling was a shade disappointing. Netherlands showed that and if they put up another tight performance, they have a real chance to equal the series. Will they be able to do it? We will find out soon. Toss and team news in a bit.
